Hotel Med Park, Ascend Hotel Collection

the location was perfect as I was attending a day-long seminar at a nearby location. I was able to keep my car in the hotel's parking area until I finished my seminar at 5 PM on the day I checked out.

It usually feels like small refrigerators in hotel rooms do not seem very cold. I hesitated to save any food in refrigerator overnight for this reason. I do not think there was any grounds area around the hotel where one might relax outside. Pretty much one only had the hotel room to relax in. I was only there for one night, so that was okay and I had booked my room the morning of my stay as well.

Decent free breakfast..Suitable. Fridge. Microwave.

No eggs or bananas. Fridge froze my food.

Location

The hotel’s parking lot/area is very difficult to maneuver, and employees are allowed to park at the “top” of the exit area, creating a very limited area to turn from the parking area onto the street. It IS a plus to have parking, but more upkeep on the painted arrows that assist in directing guests vehicles could be done - very faded.

Easy, convenient, safe access to UC Davis Medical Center directly across the street. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and had added benefit of microwave and refrigerator. Balcony was also a nice addition to the room.

A little expensive but again, offset because of access to UC Davis Medical Center. Parking is near difficult in the underground garage as it is single lane and on an extremely tight corner.

The entire staff were absolutely amazing. Eva,Daniel,Karen,Paulo and Monica were wonderful. They made a very stressful situation a little easier with there kindness and empathy. The coffee and breakfast were exceptional. I will definitely stay there anytime I need a hotel in this area. Thanks for a wonderful stay and the help with parking.

It is a great hotel and the room was awesome. It had a little patio with a table and chairs outside I would definitely stay there again. I also like the fact that you have to use your hotel key to go from the parking lot to your room which makes me feel more safe. And the breakfast was good as well

Only thing I did not like was the parking, the parking sucks. There is not that many parking spaces and the parking spaces are small

The location for what we needed was perfect. Having a continental breakfast suited us just fine. All the ladies that were at the front desk were helpful and considerate.

The parking situation was precarious. Didn’t like it at all.

Room was squeaky, clean, and nicely appointed. Good water pressure 

Air conditioning took a long time to catch up with the outside heat. Very treacherous, navigating the parking lot. The only healthy part of the complementary breakfast was the bowl of apples. 

The staff were excellent, Eva, Daniel, Karen,Paulo and Monica were wonderful. Their kindness made an extremely stressful situation a little easier. They offer good coffee and a nice beer.

Parking was hard but they were helpful with that situation as well.

Clean, very comfortable bed. Good location for hospitals near by.

The parking. Very bad parking garage underneath hotel but they did reimburse us for the parking garage directly across the street.
