A $50 temporary authorization hold was charged to my credit card and has still not been released- almost two months later. Two telephone calls required waiting about 30 minutes each to speak to someone in accounting. finally someone emailed me a release that I have to forward to my credit card company. Hopefully this will the resolve the disputed charge.

The Vines Service Team was very good and because of a previous experience they won my return visit. While we had an initial issue regarding the room type it was the very smart front desk folks that found a solution. We were grateful for their help. The valet team was wonderful and always had out car ready. We enjoyed the pool and the bar staff in getting us our beverages and food requests. We liked that there was a Starbucks onsite too. Special thanks to the outstanding maid services for the room upkeep. She was fantastic and detailed in her approach and is a big influence on our hopeful return visit in the future.

The room's Sink was cracked and we informed the from desk immediately upon our discovery of it. The crack did not impact our stay and they said it will be fixed.

The pool is very small for such a big hotel. There are some written rules concerning its usage but no stuff around, who could take care that they are implemented. We haven’t found a shower and nobody from guest there knew where one was. I can guess nobody used one. Guest were drinking and eating at the edge of pool (brought snacks ) and some listened to the music (from mobile or JBL box). Not really relaxing. Very pitty. :-( The staff at the bar at about 10pm was not attentive at all. Our cocktails were not top.

Great location. It's just across Capitol Park and was walking distance from my daughter's apartment which was very convenient. The hotel rooms are secure. You have to use your hotel key card to access the elevator. The bed was so comfortable. I slept all night without waking up, which is not normal for me. There's a touchless water station right next to the ice machines that you can use to fill up your reusable water bottles. The staff was helpful and friendly. The doors to the balcony don't fully open up, which is probably for safety reasons. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

The property was very very clean! They were wonderful, the front concierge/front desk staff. I loved how there was many options of food and drinks to choose from inside of the property! Loved that there was Starbucks inside of there as well and definitely a great place for families with kids. They offered my kids coloring books at the front desk and also swimming goggles and little accessories for the pool. ! Loved that they had movie nights during the summertime and you can watch from the pool.😃

The only thing that I really have a complaint about is that because it is downtown so many people stay there, and the pool is very verryyy small for a big hotel like this one!! and being that it was summer time the pool was severely congested with people made it feel really gross!! A big hotel and franchise like the Hyatt especially in downtown Sacramento needs a definite big big pool!

The food and service at Vines was excellent. At Amouranth was exceptional. A few people really stood out. Taylor, Bree. One absolute star was Jenna. She’s an amazing hard worker with a great attitude and a smile on her face. Another person who stood out above the others was Natalie at the front desk. She is truly special. We had such a great time. We stayed another day. Thanks to the wonderful people working there. We do plan to return soon.

The only dark spot was Dawson’s steakhouse. The service was excellent and the restaurant was very attractive. The food was horrendous. We won’t be going back to that restaurant.

Beds, sheets and bedding excellent. Had a great night's sleep. Friendly staff. Had a very nice meal with great service at Dawson's Restaurant. Valet parking staff helpful.

The noise of hearing another room's shower was deafening! I almost called down to the front desk to report a problem. The Vines restaurant service was not so great. Very slow getting food. Coffee spilled on our table without the server (trainee) coming back to clean it up. We had to keep asking for things like, more coffee, where was the mimosa, please clean up the spilled coffee, et al.

Oops, sorry. Being located directly across the street from the state capital!! The hotel was really clean, nice and calming. Hotel staff/cleaning service really cool! If you want to do the "tourist thing" from a nice hotel, ground zero. They need to emphasize the purified water stations I believe they have on each floor. You do have to walk to the station(s). Not only getting away from plastic bottles in addition charging grossly overpriced per bottle! Not cool....

Refer to the above for the less than impress. I thought we would have had a nicer sleep. Bed very uncomfortable. Perhaps a firmer mattress or make the customer aware you have them.

Breakfast and breakfast staff were amazing. Cannot say enough about how nice everyone was. The pool area was beautiful and the bar restaurant had good food.

Room does not get serviced unless you ask for it. The third day of your stay it will get serviced but they should tell you this when you check in. Like all hotels they are short on some staff.
