Location was great, hotel was clean and nice.

Shower was broke so wasn't able to shower for 24hrs

It was so close to beach and all the local restaurants. The rooms were nicely clean and had extra towels inside the closet which was super helpful!!! The staff was friendly too.

The only negative is that they don't have microwaves in the rooms for leftover eating which we had alot at times. We ended up just throwing the food away.

First of all San Diego is an expensive place. So while the rpice tag of this motel is not a low one it still is one of the not so expensive options in beach walking distance. When we arrive the reception stuff was gone for a meal, but as they expected us (we ran a little late due to traffic jam) they had left a note for us when they would be back. Appreciated and it was only a couple of minutes wait. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was spacy (we had an appartment with kitchen and a seperated sleeping room). The air condition was working nicely and the design of the rooms was surprisingly modern considering typical US hotels. We liked that. We did not use the pool area but it certainly looked nice as well. The beach as well as groceries is easy walking distance, the parking lots (even in the yard and the south side) are big enough not to cause you any headaches. We pretty much enjoyed our stay there.

The plates and forks and knifes and cups in the kitchen are all throwaway plastics. For sustainability we would have preferred real equipment that you clean up yourself before checkout. That much everybody can do for sustainability.

location was excellent. Easy to find and quiet for being on the main street. The pool looked nice but we did not use it. The spa looked a little murky but it might have had some hard kid use. The size of the suite was good for a bit of an extended stay. They had a very nice bar-b-que and a table pool-side for eating.

If you are planning on saving money by cooking your own meals you might be disappointed. It had a refrigerator but it was small. Adequate for a few days. Cooking supplies were minimal, one fry pan and two small pots. No mixing bowls, only paper plates, small paper bowls and plastic spoons, forks, knives. A few individual salt and pepper packets with the plastic ware. Management said that when COVID hit they had to remove almost everything out of the kitchens and said the County Health department has not yet given them new instructions.

Front desk reception was great. I really liked my room! Very clean, well appointed, nicely painted. the walk-in shower and raised sink a plus. Bed and pillows were great! I slept like a baby. Window coverings were solid which was good because all windows looked out onto a sketchy back ally and lots of utility poles. No elevator could be a problem for some.

Room way in the back with no view of anything you would want to see.

We were in town early so we were able to drop off our luggage at the front desk while we explored and waited for check in time. The desk attendant was very nice and accommodating. We were able to check in early as there was a room available.

The room was ready before check in time, which is 4:00pm, but to check in early at 3:00pm we had to pay $30.00. We were fine with paying an early arrival fee but seemed unessecary due to the room being ready and we were staying multiple nights.

Super cute small hotel right by the beach! Close enough to walk anywhere you need to coffee shops, beach, pier & plenty of places to eat. Also we left a stuffed animal behind & they offered to ship it for us! Great customer service in the office & the housekeeper was so sweet as well! Will be back !

Parking is a little tricky but it’s like that anywhere in CA by the beach.

Great location and on staff services like getting new towels was always available. They even let me store my luggage while I waited around for my plane to arrive and take off to the airport .

Window in the room wasnt very thick or secured all the way so can hear everyones convo who walked by during sleep.

the staff were excellent! The room was nice and comfortable and clean . Well stocked with supplies and towels There is a lot to do and eat all in walking distance. There is a heated pool.

A microwave and coffee machine would have been nice . It’s kind of a pain to leave the property and walk down the street in search of morning coffee. The cement around the pool needs to be cleaned if you are going to have pet ducks then you need to clean up after them It would be a lot easier if you cleaned it daily

Great location. Designated parking for guests. Room was meticulously clean. Excellent floor plan in the room. Large comfortable sectional couch. Modern 55-65 in tv. Designated eating space with a kitchen. Large bedroom and great bathroom. For the money… you can’t go wrong. I WILL be staying there again and again.
