We had a wonderful time. The Resort is Beautiful.

It's sad that Parents don't obey the rules and watch their children. We had an incident with unaccompanied minors in the Jacuzzi. They were doing belly flops in the shallow water disturbing everyone else and when we asked them to leave, the flipped us off. There parents were not even in the pool area. They were in their room.

Delighted that the two rooms we booked were upgraded on arrival, however there is a general feeling that as much as the hotel room is clean, it is starting to look a little dated, especially the carpets. Great to have a fridge/freezer and microwave in the room. Pool was nice and although busy it never felt over crowded. The restaurant menu was pretty limited, very few mains to choose from so we ended up eating elsewhere. The grab and go did a great breakfast burrito however!

Staff was freindly and accomodating. Loved the "activities" - daily trivia and the scavenger hunt was fun. We arrived on THursday and ate in the restaurant. Loved having the live entertainment - he was amazing. I like the walking distance to Mission Beach/Bay. I like the access to the cabanas and having someone serve food and cocktails on the beach. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and gym. ALL THE STAFF WAS SO FREINDLY & HELPFUL!

The room coffee/creamer was awlful. COFFEE in the morning is so important to us. Please have good coffee and liquid creamer options such as coffeemate vanilla. Also, the restaurant should have a cappachino machine too. We did the evening boat ride with the DJ. This was fun but the staff did not seem "happy"... The DJ didn't interact with the attendees... ALso, some complimentary snacks should be provided. Popcorn, nuts, cheese/crackers...something. Would be nice if there was some complimentary transportation to Misson Beach/Bay. I was hoping for Pedal Cabs... Lasty, I just have to mention that the restaurant tacos were not great. The salsa was like tomato sauce and the guac just ok. The burger was AMAZING.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. Private beach is great. Room was very clean.

The pictures of the room on Booking.com were not of the room I thought I was getting. Apparently they use the same pics for different rooms and I didn’t double check website to make sure of what I was getting, but overall the room was still very nice.

Came for a little birthday trip and when we arrived the staff was very friendly and we got to check in early. When we got to the room they had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries brought up for my birthday and a card from the staff. So sweet!! The location was ideal. We spent a lot of time in Old Town San Diego and the drive was easy back and forth. It was also close to Mission Beach and Belmont Park. Everywhere we went was within a 10 min drive. The private beach was so clean and nice. The pool and jacuzzi were both huge. The pool was a perfect temp. It also had a 2.5’ platform that was good for my 2 year old nephew to play in the water. The room was spacious and fit all 5 of us. We would definitely visit again. Everything we need in one resort and the staff was so nice and helpful! Thanks again!

The location was fantastic. Walking distance of 5K in to Mission Beach and Belmont Park, Seaworld was a 5 min drive. Grounds are lovely and food was quite tasty.

Rooms need updating aesthetically … small awkward bathroom with little space to get ready was the biggest issue. Mattresses/pillows/sheets need upgrading and not the typical plush feel of most hotels .

The location was amazing...view of the bay..walking distance to public beach and Belmont Park and plenty of food...the seals they have are so adorable.....the coffee car had great coffee...private beach and dog friendly

There's only a couple ice machines outside and 2 of the 3 were empty or not working the entire time as well as the vending machines

The grounds were beautifully kept and we felt very safe around the property and in our rooms. Staff were very friendly and the location was perfect, central to all kinds of local activities. The restaurant and breakfast sir stream were both very good and our kids enjoyed the pool. The only downside was we didn’t feel there were enough chairs and loungers on the beach or at the pool. Guests would “claim” a chair or group of chairs and leave (for the bar, their room, or, or) and be gone for hours while others struggled to find seating. We would definitely come back here!!

We arrived in the early hours and got a cheerful and helpful welcome from the woman receptionist. Our suite was spacious with a well equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable.

It was difficult to find our room number at 2:00 am. Lighted room numbers would have been useful, or at least bigger ones. The shower was over the tub but there were no grab rails to assist in getting in and out.

We had a view of the bay and a balcony to sit on to watch the sunset and just enjoy the ocean breeze. The location is great because it is close to many venues. Their restaurant had a nice menu and food was very good.

The grounds were well kept but it just seems a little old. Not that it was a turnoff but I just felt it could use some updating.
