Cheerful helpful staff, big room, excellent breakfast included for Hyatt members. Easy walking distance to Oracle Park (stayed after a Giants game).

Hotel has only 10 parking spots in nearby garage, had to pay $60/night in public garage. Not mentioned in booking.com or on their website. Big surprise on arrival, almost made me late to the Giants game. Front desk was pretty unconcerned at my dismay, like "you should have known". True, I should have called to ask about parking when it was not clear in my reservation. Still annoying.

I love the employees super nice and they even helped us out with a later check out for no extra costs because they had the availability. Loved that really came in handy. Super clean they have the coolest rooftop bar and an outside patio area 🙌 Love the layout. Only thing I didn't like was the parking is first come first serve and the only other parking option (granted it's cheaper) Is across the street and you can't go in and out or you'll get charged every time and you have to have your car back in there by 2 am. Other than that everything was amazing Will be back for sure

I didn't see any junkies or tents during the day or night. It's located in a very good area, walking distance to Union Square and other places of interest. It has great bedrooms, bathrooms and gym. Breakfast is normal and the usual hotel type, but its varied and good. After looking a lot of reviews, which all stated the hotel was surrounded by tents and junkies, this one was a great find.

If I were to be picky, it would be that the hotel doesn't have Room Service or any type of meal service after breakfast. But they do have connecting restaurants (rooftop and adjacent) to choose from, or you can always ask for it to be delivered.

The breakfast sausage looked a little questionable but everything else tasted great. Enough options for vegetarian, vegan, etc. Definitely needs bacon as an option.

It was pretty difficult to use the restroom in the lobby during breakfast, I kept going up to the desk and to the bathroom but still couldn't get in. The lighting in the room was pretty awful, the three of us trying to get ready for a concert was interesting. Especially when we couldn't open or change the blinds at all. I also didn't know anything about the $90 deposit prior to checking in... I for sure would have loved to know about that before it was just added onto the total.

So many things! First, the location was a block from Oracle Park (the purpose of my trip). Second, the hotel was able to accommodate my specific room request (that I did through the Booking.com App). Third, the staff was GREAT. They were very helpful during our odd check-in (past midnight)/check-out (4:45am) times; during breakfast (food was delicious and fully stocked during that time); and even provided me packets of toothpaste when I sheepishly asked because we had run out as this was the last stop on our trip. Finally, our room and the facility was CLEAN. No straggling hairs in bathroom, bed, couch. The mattress was comfortable (not too soft, not lumpy). There were lots of guests and the lobby was clean and orderly, as were the numerous areas available for breakfast seating (inside and outside which included two long fire pits).

Only thing I can think of was there was a small stain on the couch in our room (back cushion). I'm talking real small - but since the rest of the room was so nice, I did notice it. It's not a deal breaker and I would stay at this hotel again if the occasion came up. As I shared above, the room was clean.

Hyatt Place has a wonderful breakfast, including eggs, sausage, sauteed potatoes, berries, and the usual cereal and breads. I think booking.com says this has parking, and that is not quite true; there is a public parking garage 1/2 block away that allows you to park overnight. Usually, it is $30, but if there is a Giants game, it goes up to $70. You don't want to park on the street in San Francisco, there are a lot of smash and grabs. So make sure, no matter where you park your car in SF, that it looks like nothing is in it. The area is safe around the hotel. The beds are comfortable; they have a nice hotel bar downstairs; the hours were 4-10 when we were there. They also have a nice patio with gas fireplaces. It is nice to hang out there. If you are new to the area, be sure to walk down to the Embarcadero. It is beautiful at night, and the Bay Bridge is all lit up. After a Giants game, there are lots of people out and about.

When they say breakfast ends at 9 (or 10 on weekends) am, they shove you out the door, so make sure you are there earlier than the end time, especially if you want to top your coffee off.

Very nice hotel, very nice staff and housekeepers (all of them!!) cool rooftop bar, felt safe in the hotel, right across from oracle park and close to pier which was fun to walk our dogs to. Nice! Love that it’s pet friendly. The breakfast every morning was great and so convenient for us! Parking at the hotel is very expensive, but the staff let us know about public parking right across the street for a lot cheaper which was great.

Was pet friendly which is great, just wish the king room was slightly bigger and allowed the window to open (even just a crack) because the room got stuffy with our dogs inside and felt crowded. No place close by to walk dogs to go potty, they basically had to go on the street or walk two blocks down to grass area each time. Only one way in and out of the hotel (through the lobby) which was kind of a pain, although safer I suppose. Wish there was a back door to walk our dogs in and out of and not through crowds in the lobby.

The location is clean. It is very small but I think every hotel in this location is a bit small. Parking is limited and expensive at the location. There is a parking garage down the street but no in out privileges. The rooms are clean and the outside areas are well kept. The downstairs atrium is calming and a great place to have breakfast. The breakfast was great! Many selections. The indoor eating area is small and crowded but the outside seating is very nice. They have a well kept equipped gym with a water dispenser and towels available.

Breakfast area is small Limited expensive parking No pool

Breakfast food was good, not great...not crowded. plenty of seating. Our 11th floor room was comfortable. The elevators were slow and required you room key (we sometimes shared the elevator with staff and very large carts) Check in was easy and the staff were friendly, even directing us to a local bar, by walking outside and showing us the way, and looking cool in the SF Giants themed uniform. At check in we also received a goody bag with bottled water, and some snacks. Our walk to Oracle Park was only about 5 minutes, very convenient. There was limited parking at the hotel which was explained to us, but they let us know that right across the street (3rd St.) was a public parking garage (the Beacon) that cost $15 less than the hotel, $60 per day. The hotel had a nice bar, but, to our disappointment, closed at 10pm (on a Friday night) after the Giants game, not a major issue but a bit of a letdown. All in all a very good experience. My wife and I agreed we would come back, even if it wasn't for a Giants game =:)

The only complaints my wife and I had were slowish elevators, bar closing early. Also, the room doors slammed loudly which was annoying early in the morning when people in adjacent rooms were leaving for breakfast or whatever. Our room was located in an alcove of 3 doors which made the closing of the doors quite loud.

The property is clean and rooms are spacious with everything you need.

The parking is not ideal as the staff has to open the gate every time which is Time consuming. Parking at $75 per night is a lot for a family but safety is a must be a flat rate for a family stay would be ideal. We had a family of 4 but we can’t receiving only 3 sets of towels when refilling the rooms which caused to call guest service for more which was not issue but shouldn’t have been the case.
