Location is very good, 1 block from union square, very close to market street and the street car main stop,walkable to chinatown. The Hotel inside is beautiful, Room is VERY spacious, gets cleaned everyday. Coffee maker is really good, pods gots refilled everyday as well as water bottles. Hotel Staff is all ver nice and friendly, no complain about anybody. You get $25 voucher to use everyday on room service or restaurant, free dessert everyday from 7-9pm, also got 2 free tickets to use on street car!! Awesome Hotel, if I ever go back To SF , will definitely book here. Thank you JW Marriot

The fee you have to pay per day plus tax which is non refundable, and the $150 per day that they put on hold on your card which is never mentioned when you book, I think it should be mentioned so you are prepared for it. SF has TOO MANY HOMELESS PEOPLE, so be prepared, nothing the hotel can do about it

Friendly staff. Good location. Beautiful views from rooms on higher floors. Free water bottles.

Needs a renovation (obsolete inventory and building). Breakfast was quite pricey. Rooms could have been cleaned better (I found some hair in the bathroom).

The room was spacious enough. The queen beds were very comfortable. The shower was great and the bathroom was very spacious as well. The location of the hotel in Union Square was excellent. The hotel was very close to shops, restaurants, and local transportation.

The toilet area did not have a door for privacy. There was no trash can in the room just in the bathroom. Would have liked to have a full room service menu in the room itself.

The room and bathroom was spacious. The staff were helpful. The rooms were clean daily.

I should spend $25 daily on options that are set by the hotel, room service for example (but not the laundry). If I don't order, Im charged that amount for the day

Location is perfect, Food, service, amenities and staff all good, not as good as our first time at the J.W but good, We ( wife and I ) have stayed now eight times in the city and each time it was a different place, The J W Marriott was such a great stay our first time we decided to book another stay, With all our stays as for the hotels .. all ok but what sets them apart is the staff, Our first stay at the JW Marriott .. The staff were outstanding but second time around the fell to just ok ... Now if how we were treated the first time staying there was a standard for the staff then it would be a no brainer ... This second time we did not feel that way ... But we will be back ...still a great place to stay ..

Folks, Not to much .. just little things like no bath robes, DO not touch the Refrigerator stuff ... Expensive stuff ... Even if you pick something up to see what it is .. you get charged ... But they removed the charges ...

Room was super clean. Check in was really easy, especially important because we arrived in SF pretty early in the day.

Destination charge of $25 was not clear when I book the room. We could not take advantage of the items included in the destination card. Waste of $25.

Folks! To start the Staff were fantastic! Especially Norvin who remembered my wife and I from two months ago when the hotel we stayed at used the JWs garage for our car, He was one of the reasons we will return to the JW Marriott for another visit ... There was also Essy who open the doors for us Everytime we left or returned and I also need to mention the leader of the Guys who is Jeff, never has anyone every made us feel more welcomed then Jeff, And very informative on how to become an elite member ... It's staff members like these guys who make the difference and is why we will return many more times .. JW Marriott please thanks these Three for being above their game ... The JW Marriott was fantastic ...

Folks, The only thing we did not really like but kinda understand is my wife was a little hungry so we stop by the in house restaurant and order food to just take back to our room .. Wife ordered the teriyaki chicken and rice ... We got back to room and found that the chicken and rice were tossed into a cardboard box and the veggies were tossed on top, no bowl just a small box, Wife thought everything else was so fancy why wasn't a paper bowl used to separate food from the box, .. They really should have done something different .. just did not look good .. other than that .. we really like the rest of our stay ...

The beds were very comfortable and we had a good view. The location was fantastic as we could walk to everything! Staff was very responsive. Nice room and the bathroom was a very good size.

We would have like to get our mini bar and coffee refilled. We did call and ask for more coffee pods which were brought for us. They did not have enough towels in the room for 4 people but they did bring them to us. they only clean room with 24 hours notice and you have to be gone.

Centrally located, JW Marriott quality, high quality staff, parking on-site

Too expensive for what you get in return, anyone can easily walk into the hotel and go up the elevators even without card access, walls are paper thin and I could hear everything next door (and I mean everything), on-site parking was prohibitively expensive.

I was appreciative of the room as a whole. Although I was not able to find the iron. I'm sure it was there somewhere. The bed was a little on the stiff side, but I was tired, so falling asleep was no problem.

I was traveling with some first time travelers who did not know about the room incidentals. Even though they only picked up the items to look at, we were charged. I just wonder what do parents with small children do to avoid their children picking up expensive cookies...
