All staff were very helpful, particularly front desk manager. He arranged for us to have a breakfast "deal" at the restaurant on-site, which was very convenient. He also had answers to all our questions about local places we'd planned on visiting...The hotel location is perfect and the parking was great. The beds were really nice and comfy and the linens seemed very fresh.

Rooms are dated, so there is staining in the sink, for example, and carpet stains. The bathroom was very clean but the main room carpet seemed a bit dirty, like only the main part was thoroughly vacuumed.

Loved the location, beach is literally across the street from the beach. Definitely kids friendly, my two little ones enjoyed it. Quiet time is at 10pm and it is very quiet and peaceful, you will only hearing the waves crash which is so relaxing. Staff were awesome, very welcoming and friendly, also informative. The room was very clean and cozy. This was our 2nd time back and we just had the best time like the first time we stayed. Just an overall a clean, relaxing and a family friendly place to stay and reasonable price. Highly recommended. Will be back.

No complaints really. Just wish they had a microwave in the room to be able to heat up food for the kids. But we still survived and enjoyed our stay.

The location is perfect for visiting Hearst Castle and seeing the area. The staff was super helpful to put us into a room that had a view and was accessible for my 89 yo MIL. You can easily walk down to the beach from the hotel. Definitely a great value for the area. The restaurant on the property makes things very convenient. When you check in they give you 10% coupons to use there.

We were caught off guard with the hours of the restaurant on Monday morning. They didn't open until 10:30 compared to 8am on Sunday.

The location was great. You had everything with easy access from restaurants, liquor stores and beach access, right accross the street. The hotel was really nice. Our 2 beds room nice with plenty of space.

Pool was not heated. It was actually a disappointment as one of the reasons I booked her was because it has a heated pool. And the beds were so uncomfortable. We can feel the springs. Kinda felt like water beds all night.

The restaurant on site was wonderful with each meal. The room was very quiet, such that I did not hear my neighbors above me or on either sides. All cars were parked at a decent distance from the rooms so that you did not hear your neighbors arrive or leave.

One bed's mattress needed to be replaced since it was a sway back. I am sure to the water shortage there was only a shower, no bathtub. The shower with glass walls needed to be a bit bigger, if you were a large person since it was difficult to bend down.

It is a nice place in the middle of the Pacific road to stay. It is across the road from the ocean and the beach. Also, the pool is available and the water is quite warm. The rooms are big and comfortable, It is a fridge in the room, but not a microwave. The beds are good. It is very nice, that the motel has a restaurant and bar. Also, happy hours with discounts are provided. The food is good, but the prices are quite high. Free parking next to the door is provided. The breakfast is good, better to book with the hotel.

Almost everything is very good. The room was unexpectedly good when it comes to bed comfort and cleanliness. The location of the property is superb. The bonus part was that the beach is just across the street and its breathtaking. There's a grocery store within the hotel area where you can buy stuff you need during your stay. food options are also available even during the night. Would recommend to all who needs a place to stay when going for an adventure 2 day trip along the scenic Pacific Highway 1 in CA.

The only drawback though was we have to climb up the stairs because our room was at the second floor. But its alright. Finding a parking was also a challenge as there was an event I think during the day but we eventually find one close to the room towards the evening.

This place completely exceeded our expectations on arrival. The room was spacious and comfortable with a nice balcony area. The facilities on-site are fantastic with a lovely pool, gift & grocery shop, restaurant and bar with a pool table. The price for all of this is absolutely insane and the location is beautiful on a gorgeous beach. The front desk went above and beyond to help with any questions and also gave us a free discount on our meal.

The ONLY negative was that their on-site restaurant is extortionate, we paid more for 1 main course each than for our entire nights stay. Downstairs rooms can be noisy as the room above us were stomping around from 4am so got a disturbed sleep.

The location was perfect. The beach is directly across the street. Staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. The couple staying above us were having a domestic dispute. We tried to ignore it but it got too loud. They were walking back and forth loudly and the man was cussing the female out. At some points it sounded physical. I reported it to the night staff and they checked it out but heard nothing. From the outside, you couldn't hear anything. It was getting pretty intense and we could not relax. Thankfully the desk person was able to switch our room.

The room I booked for was supposed to be king size. We received 2 queens I believe. Shower was quite small.
