Embassy Suites by Hilton Santa Ana Orange County Airport

My first room was nice but it did not have a balcony. Which I payed extra for.So we were sent to a 2nd new room,which was already occupied by another stayer…But I truly appreciate the front desk staff they fixed the problem asap and upgraded us to a even larger room with a balcony.We enjoyed our stay.I believe the 2 front desk workers are honestly amazing and very helpful.I want to personally thank them for going above and beyond making sure our stay was great.Please be kind always to the workers they are over worked and shortly staffed.

What’s not to like?

The bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly.

The TV was difficult to navigate through the channels. You cannot select the channel you want, you have to scroll through all of the channels to get to the one you wanted. Even had someone come up just to make sure thats the way it worked. Yes, thats how it works. Finally found the guide on channel 74-10 (!??) The elevators weren't working properly. Sometimes the buttons wuld work, sometimes not.

Loved the omelet station for breakfast. We always try to make sure we stay in places that offer breakfast so my daughter can get a hearty meal before tournaments. The separated bedroom and living room, my daughter had a space to do some homework as well as lots of room to get some practice in for her karate tournament.

The beds were uncomfortable, and the bathroom was really small.

Breakfast was great! Good variety & the fresh to order omelet bar was wonderful. Room was very spacious & clean. There was plenty of space to walk around the interior atrium, with well-mannered foliage and lots of seating.

Self-parking is a bit pricey, and because the pool is indoors and close right off the lobby the entire indoor atrium smells of pool chemicals. There isn't much variety of stores, shoppes, or eateries within walking or short driving distance.

breakfast was great, the area was very nice and clean. I enjoyed the complimentary drinks. Staff was very friendly

the swimming pool had way too much chlorine, it damaged my hair. The parking area was too crowded, hardly enough space to get out of the vehicle, because cars were parked very close to each other. There was not enough carts to unload/load luggage from/to the vehicle

It was a very nice room for a great price. Close to airport and beach. Breakfast was excellent and really enjoyed the bad and grill for dinner and drinks. Bed was great, room and linens very clean.

A/c return dripped into sink all not. Kind of strange but it is an older building.

Convenient to everything

In town for a ball tournament and the washers and dryers were not working therefor I had to get up early in the morning and go to a laundry mat a few miles away

Buffet was excellent, especially the omelet station.

Only issue I had was the room wasn't cleaned after my fist night and I had to go to the front desk to get fresh towels. I would think that there may still be staffing issues because of COVID but just wanted to mention it on the review.

the lay out was waay cool

i didnt like the fact that booking didnt relay to the hotel of the reservation and drove 7 hours to find out i didnt have a room reservation, mind you i booked this over a month in advance. so i had to book through the actual hotel and had to pay 100 dollars more then my original reservation. then on top of that booking still chaged me the 177 dollar cancelation fee

very clean, staff was awesome! they were always in constant communication

ice machines were not working, but that was not a big deal for me, only needed ice one night
