Check-in was quick and easy through the after hours window. Walking distance to the Empress Dumpling restaurant was only a short 15 minute walk. The room was very clean and had a spacious living room. Great to have free parking in the large garage located at the basement level. Even though the Inn was near the freeway, I could not hear the noise from my room.

It was little spooky having a locked door in the room. I would have liked a heads up from the staff that the additional bathroom is locked. I was disappointed the refrigerator did not have a freezer section to store my frozen dumplings.

Arriving just after sunset (6pm in January), I was a little uncomfortable with no access to the lobby. I stood in a parking garage to use a phone to call the manager to check in. My card didn't work to take the elevator to my floor that you access from the garage. The manager was very nice and came out to show me I wasn't using the key card correctly. Got to my room and the key card didn't work correctly there either! Was issued a second card. My daughter flew in and arrived at the hotel at 2am. Since there was no lobby, I sat in my car in the parking garage to wait for her! Then the key card wouldn't work for the elevator in the garage ... at 2am! Called the manager and he issued another card. After after that, all was well. I didn't realize that I would need a 2nd night in SF. After reading this, you would think that I would find another place, but I didn't. Weighing the pros and cons, I decided that the manager was attentive, the parking garage was safe, the atmosphere inside was appealing, the room was clean and comfy, and the price was right. And if you have a rental car, the airport is just a few minutes away, and a gas station on the way.

Great Price, location is close to airport a Costco nearby and chain of restaurants close by.. don't go by the look for external building, they have nice, clean and spacious enough rooms..

I felt the equipments were little old. Fridge cooking effect less...The shower was compliant...Water not dispensing properly or at low pressure making it hard to take shower...

Parking and check-in was a breeze. The front desk was closed, but the gentleman helping at the check-in window was very kind. The room was very spacious and clean. We appreciated the window being left open during the day and us being welcome with a rush of clean air as we entered the room. It was quiet and comfortable through the night, so we could rest properly for our long flight on the next day. There is a gas station right nearby, so we could easily fill up our rental car after check-out and get on our lovely 8-minute drive to the airport.

We arrived at 8am. They let us check in to our upgraded rooms at no extra charge. My son and my daughter’s best friend was coming in that night after midnight and they gave them keys to get in to their rooms. Excellent service. Above and beyond. Coffee in the morning was excellent.

Clean room, room service cleaning lady did a great job, large comfy rooms, quiet, everything worked, we'll definitely be back!

Excellent location. Safe set-up for staff. a nice courtyard on lower floor and relaxation area on upper floor. Excellent parking in a ramp under the hotel. Great for airport access. Staff are very responsive.

Bed could be more comfortable, could us a little padding.

Rooms were quite spacious! The courtyard outside our rooms on the 2nd floor was lovely- great place to eat outside and relax in the fresh air. Our rooms were cleaned perfectly every day. Staff friendly. Family-ryun. Great pride in their place. Felt very comfortable and safe. Beds were also good, perfect really. Neither of us woke up feeling sore from sleeping funny! Great restaurants nearby too! At first you might find the area looks a little sketchy, but go up Grand and you'll see!
