This motel was exactly what we were looking for: a taste of old Florida (owned by the same family since 1948, we heard), human scale, right on the beach, good pool, great decks overlooking the water, broad beach with grassy dunes, all in a quiet area.

It is an old motel, and we were not in one of their finest rooms. The AC was effective but loud, the bathroom was small, the water pressure was weak, and the bed just okay. But we like old motels, and would happily stay there again. We loved being able to walk out our door to the beach, and cocktail hour at one of the many tables on the deck, watching the pelicans glide over the waves, could not be beat.

Jenni was awesome! Our Corgi loved her and she was so helpful! she checked in on us multiple times during our stay to make sure we didn't need anything. The location of this place is also amazing. we were able to watch a rocket launch and just a few steps from the beach. The pool was also nice, however it was super warm and after a hot day out shark fishing, we wanted to take a cold dip in the pool.

The only thing we didn't like was that the Wifi wasn't seeming to work. we couldnt get the room password to work, but Jenni gave us the other one. That is really the only thing we had an issue with.

I loved the home away from home feel. Jenni and the other gentleman were super kind. Nice small room but has most of what you need and it is furbaby approved. You're feet away from the beach with fireplaces, tables and plenty of waste bins. Also have the opportunity to use beach chairs etc they have. Overall would stay again!!

I am sure it was listed somewhere, but I might have missed it... we only had bar soap.... no coffee, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, nada... I have stayed in low budget to high end and even airbnb and never didn't have them... the one time I didn't bring them 0.0. Also there was a large wasp nest and huge ants that came in at night. Again your in FL and on a beach. I didn't like it but it comes with the area haha. Truly it was beautiful and anyone staying there I think would very much enjoy their time.

The manager was super friendly. She was always ready & willing to help out with any questions I had. I loved the location. It was right on the beach. The grounds were beautiful and kept up. It was much more private than the big hotels. My favorite was the free use of recreational items, chairs, umbrellas, etc. needed for the beach. Also had an amazing, comfortable, wide open deck with grill, a pool & showers.

Everything was great. our room was very comfortable with good size and comfortable beds. The kitchenette was perfect for our use. The property is beautifully set right on the beach with a large deck that has numerous chaise lounges, tables and chairs. All in great condition. The beach is always near empty…maybe 6-10 people. Perfect. The staff is great; accommodating & friendly

I loved that the location was away from the busier parts of town, but still close enough to get around easily. It was quiet and separate, the perfect place to chill for a weekend. We were meeting friends before they got on a cruise ship in Port Canaveral and that area was loud and crazy, every time we got back to our place I was so glad to be there instead of in the middle of the chaos. The room was large and comfortable, the couches are a little hard to sleep on but still ok short term. The kitchen was well equipped with pans and dishes, a toaster, coffee maker and other small appliances. The bathroom is small but functional. The outdoor area was my favorite, a ton of seating and tables all along the wooden deck area. I went out with my computer and worked there every morning and it was a wonderful space. The beach is literally right outside, palm trees and curly tailed lizards, and the ocean was calmer than I expected with long uncrowded beaches. There are surf boards to rent in the office and boogie boards included. We enjoyed the pool when we came back overheated, 3ft-5ft was perfect for us.

There were toiletries in the bathroom but no dish soap in the kitchen, which made it hard to clean up after meals. We also expected an oven but there was only the stove top, it would be nice if they updated the listing to reflect that. The full sized beds are a little small for two people but otherwise comfortable.

Location is perfect. Far enough away from the bustle but close enough to restaurants and shops. All of the other guests were so friendly. We all knew each others' names and home towns and hung out together on the patio. There is a convenience mart a quick walk away. Whether you want night life or wild life, Cocoa Beach has it all.

Two tiny items...there is no ice maker and a tiny freezer so we had to buy a styrofoam cooler. There is no place to recycle bottles and cans. Other than that the place was perfect.

This resort was clean, safe and had a great beach atmosphere. We saw an awesome launch from Cape Canaveral was clean and not crowded. Great staff (Jenny RULES!) and lots of parking.

Our room was way smaller than I thought it would be, but I should have paid attention to the square footage of the room when I was reserving it.

LOCATION! 🙌 Was greeted with a smile, i usually stay at a chain location every year and wanted to try something different. This was so close to the ocean you can hear the waves crashing. It was clean and comfortable. We stayed in #4 and slept 6 comfortable! So many seashells! The kids enjoyed the pool , all the sand toys even some dogs as the location is pet friendly.

Loved everything, staff was very welcoming .

Everything was wonderful, my family and I will definitely be returning back very soon. Jenni was so helpful and friendly made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Can't wait for our next get away. Found out new vacation spot
