Hyatt House Atlanta Downtown

Ive been to several hotels since covid and none had a breakfast like this one for 4 days they changed it up alittle everytime but my wife and i were more than content on eating it everyday! We had a great time with a perfect location right across the street from the aquarium and a short walk to the coca cola museum and tons of other great places to eat and drink would come back in a heartbeat, vallet parking here was great and super nice.

Some of the staff in the building wasnt what you would call greeting or even nice at times who knows if maybe it was a bad day or were stressed out but as a guest i do not care about your problems elsewhere and would expect nothing more on my own vacation than to have good attitudes and polite service.

Location and staff. Security officer was top notch!!!! Can’t speak highly enough about him. He assisted with take out options and directions when front desk staff were busy with other customers and he was exceptional at keeping out unwanted guests while making everyone feel comfortable.

Price is a little high for age of hotel. Bathroom door didn’t lock )not a huge problem since it was family) but could be awkward if your in there and someone opens door. Faucet too close to back of sink making hand washing awkward too.

The Hyatt House is conveniently located within walking distance to the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca Cola and Mercedes Benz Stadium. There are numerous places to eat within easy walking distance, but I did not feel comfortable walking to them after the sun went down. The king suite was roomy and included a very nice kitchenette and full-size refrigerator. The breakfast was great with scrambled eggs and potatoes provided every day with meat items that changed each day over our 4-day stay.

I did not like paying $45 a night for valet parking and our room on the 2nd floor faced traffic so it was noisy until past midnight for all days of our stay. Parking in Atlanta is expensive no matter where you go so I recommend walking to as many attractions close to the hotel as possible. This is one way to justify the parking charge.

The staff at this location was spectacular and helpful. It was close to so many popular tourist locations like the aquarium, Coca Cola museum, and the Civil rights museum. I love the set up of the rooms- separate bedroom for suite rooms with a separate kitchen and living area. The free breakfast was also delicious and had lots of options for my whole family to find something they liked.

I wish the pool had been heated. In my room the bedroom tv and phone didn’t work (not an issue for us though).

The hotel has a very nice lobby/lounge area as you walk in. The location is conveniently located near several attractions in the downtown Atlanta area, including State Farm Arena, the giant Ferris wheel, and the Aquarium. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was fantastic, very funny, friendly, and accommodating. The breakfast is very good. We’ll book another stay there soon!

There might be some things that could be updated in the room, but no complaints here.

I don’t appreciate that booking.com does such a poor job communicating with Theo property of the requests we made for our stay. The hotel did everything they could to accommodate us but booking.com lied to us stating in an email they gave our requests to the hotel. If they would had actually done it, it would have saved us trouble and time. SUPER disappointing on booking.com! This is the second time booking.com has been shady with our reservations. We will no longer use booking.com

Food was good, staff was helpful. A great location

No hot water in bathroom sink. Shower knob was broken and we informed them. They never fixed it and we had to keep calling about it. After midnight they wanted to give us another room

The room was a little small due to me having my family with me. It would have been perfect if I was by myself. I loved the fact we had a mini kitchen. Our bathroom light was not working. The breakfast was ok it was alot to choose from but not all that good looking to do so. Valet and front desk were wonderful. I will return every year until my daughter graduates from Clark Atlanta. This is my hotel until her senior year

The breakfast eggs were watery looking and the servers or kitchen staff I should say was very rude to some of the guest fixing their plate. They were acting like police over the food that did not look good to eat. On top of that I under stand when breakfast is over its over they were clearing out things 2 mins early and people were still fixing there plates. At the end of the day their service was not good and very rushed

It was in walking distance of State Farm Arena. which was great. Great places to eat all around this location.

Parking is $45 a Day which We weren't aware. we lucked up and found free parking on the street in front of the hotel. no worries there is a parking lot across the street that charged $10 a day if there's no event (game).
