La Quinta by Wyndham Atlanta Ballpark/Galleria

The hotel is in very nice shape, nice safe suburban area, staff generally very nice and friendly. It's as good as a Country Inn which are mostly new and super clean in my experience. The parking lot is ample and nestled among trees and quiet and the facilities were top shape. The guests are generally tourists with a regular group of CSX engineers who stay there for training classes, nice gents. The location is half hour northwest of downtown, with tons of shopping like Walmart 15 minutes away. There is an Asian foodie road, Buford Highway, including an Asian Farmers Market, real authentic food but in a bunch of different strip malls, mostly Viet but also Chinese etc. About 25 minutes east. Downtown is a half hour south and you may not want to stay in downtown Atlanta with today's high crime rate though there are safe zones.

At night they tend to put up yellow 'Wet floor' placards including on the hall carpet, smack in the middle, and leave them out all night long. When I tripped on one as I didn't expect one on the carpet, the very tall night clerk barked at me Pick that up! as if I was his staff and no 'Sorry,' 'Are you ok?' or any semblance of politeness. The rest of the staff was awesome. Also breakfast, though warm, featured the runny powder eggs mix, sausage and waffle maker, tasteless food. Fresh oranges though.

The location is so convenient. Easy to access right off the bypass so you do not have to go through downtown Atlanta if you do not want to. The rooms are so clean and the staff was so friendly! The breakfast was fine. Lots of available parking. Panera Bread next door within walking distance.

I traveled with two cats and it is 25.00 per pet. Pets used to stay free at LaQuinta. Also there is a deposit but it is refund upon checkout. That was new for me also. I last stayed there in 2017 and did not have that

The location was perfect, the staff were amazing and friendly, the room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel was beautiful. Everything was outstanding! We will choose this location again.

Though it was no one's fault, the only drawback was simply inconvenient. We were hungry when we returned to the room from our event, so we went to the lobby to use the cool warm food vending machine but it wasn't working 😕 Then we asked the front desk concierge about the lobby store and were apologetically told it was unavailable too. So, we ended up having to go out tired and it was late at night, with limited options of restaurants that were open late and had to settle for what we could get. Then we missed breakfast the next morning, but that was on us. We overslept since we came in so late 😋

The room was very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There were many breakfast choices.

There were not enough water cups. Only 2 for a 3 day stay. The refrigerator in the room did not work. We had to dump our milk and some of our other food items. We didn't realize that until the night before we left so we didn't notify the front desk. I did, however, bring it to the attention of the front desk person as we were checking out just so the next people would not have the same problem. She was very apologetic and gave me extra rewards point.

The manager at the front desk was absolutely incredible. So helpful, friendly and down to earth. He made me feel like I was right at home.

Facilities were a little run down, and the staff who cleaned the room gave me USED towels. So I just had them stop cleaning my room until I left. That way I knew I was reusing my own towel and not someone else's or one that had been on the bathroom floor.

The room itself was really nice and the bed was super comfortable. Tony, who works at the front desk was absolutely awesome and so helpful! When we arrived, our shower curtain rod was broken and they had maintenance there to fix it the same day!

Breakfast was meh, nothing all that exciting and when they ran out of coffee multiple guests asked for a new pot and it never came. The pool was also kinda yuck, it could definitely use an upgrade considering the bottom is turning brown.

The facilities were super clean and perfectly located for my 2-night stay in Atlanta to enjoy the two Six Flag amusement parks with my daughter. The King Suite was well priced and beyond roomy.

I know this may seem petty, but the televisions were small ( 27" - 30") and not easily viewed from the bed, especially not for reading subtitles. A larger television of at least (> 32") would have made for a more enjoyable lounging experience, after a tiring day in the sun and all of that walking at the amusement parks.

The staff was friendly and helpful The breakfast was very nice The rooms were spacious The beds were very comfortable It was quiet. We had thought that because there were games in town that it would be a little loud. But it was not. It is situated in a secluded, quiet but nice place to get in and out of easily.

The price could have been a little less, but all and all, I guess that is to be expected.

Great room size (spacious) and the bed was very comfortable. Slept/rested extremely well. Are the rooms sound proof? I wasn't disturbed by outside or hallway noises. I really enjoyed my stay. The staff during check-in and through the day or any time I was in contact with them, were very friendly/ pleasant.

Things have changed since the pandemic, we have to adjust. For example, although housekeeping doesn't bring in 'fresh' towels everyday (they were available at the front desk), the two sets of towels and face cloths were sufficient since I was the only one in the room. The continental breakfast held me until I was able to go to a restaurant for a full breakfast. I can't complain due to the 'times we are living in'. Oh, one complaint (not really). Consider installing the Hallmark Channel. I love watching the movies. This location had HGTV which I also like. Seriously, no major complaint!

Our first book extended stay America, and it didn’t work out well, roaches, then I bought the La Quinta, I love the La Quinta, I should’ve booked with my first mind.

it was nice and clean, I love the breakfast, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I was a little disappointed because the pool didn’t open up until the 20th and And I was checking out the 21st, I checked in on the 16th.
