The hotel is gorgeous & beautifully decorated. I stayed here for DragonCon weekend on Labor Day weekend so it was only a few blocks from all of that. Bathrooms are huge, beds comfortable, ample room for clothes in closet and drawers. Staff was great and very accommodating. There was one night they even had popcorn when you enter the lobby (not sure if the occasion but that’s a neat treat!)

Not too much to complain about- the restaurant is By George which does room service until 10pm. It is more of a fancier restaurant and I think the only thing my son would have eaten is the chicken wings so we didn’t order. I didn’t ask if they had a kids menu as he is 15 so he does need a larger meal, but keep that in mind if you have kids. There is no pool which I know surrounding hotels have but my son wasn’t feeling great that weekend so it didn’t change our stay. Parking prices are high but I took Marta since I live south of the area.

Location, decor, hospitable staff, clean room. The decor in the room was just gorgeous!

There should be a MUCH better and faster breakfast option! Service in the restaurant is much too slow! Since the breakfast is by order vs. buffet style, there should be an offering to do “grab and go breakfast” for people in a rush like we were. Also, the bathroom layout was weird for the room we had, where the living room side of the bathroom opened into the bathroom and so did the door that separated the toilet section from the shower area. Was just odd and clumsy. Also did not like how the corner unit seemed very noisy.

I was very shocked at the number of homeless individuals around the hotel. while it was still extremely quite and no one bothered it was rather saddening as it is a real problem in Atlanta it appears. Those who did speak were very friendly and cracking jokes and overall kind. My partner and I were wishful of being able to help and saddened by the abundance of individuals.

The beauty of the hotel. The location was great. The food was excellent.

Inadequate hot water each morning. Long wait times in the restaurant. The restaurant would not honor walk ins; strictly reservations only. And, on the first night's stay, they would not even accept room service orders. No one in the facility could or would offer change for large bills. The ATM is set for $20 or higher and breaking the bill for smaller amounts was impossible. It might be a great idea to have change available so that staff can be adequately tipped. Provide change for their benefit, if for no other reason.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was good at the restaurant; however, we were told there was "room service" but we had to go there physically to order and get food to take up to the room. Towels were ample and housekeeping was exceptional..

The wi-fi connection was lacking a bit and had to have maintenance reset the wi-fi. A bit disappointing when arriving late and expecting to log into work account to catch up on emails. The room needs more lighting. A lot more. More variety on the menu for the restaurant would be nice too.

The hotel was very nice and the rooms were nicely done. Check in was easy and they were helpful in us finding our room and where we needed to go. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the onsite restaurant By George and both meals were great. We had a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meal and the staff was very helpful.. Just watch out for the fancy $8/glass of sweet tea!

No real complaint, but more something to keep an eye on if you choose the breakfast included reservation. I never felt anyone truly knew how to handle it and I got two different versions of how much of a credit we got. Upon check out I got an emailed paid invoice and I didn't receive the credit. Once I called it got resolved quickly and it was done for the correct amount.

Beautiful historic hotel and well-updated and maintained. Our first stay was on 4th floor - beautifully spacious room for two. Our second stay was on 13th floor with nice big windows but smaller and furnished for one (e.g. one chair and you had to sit in chair to see TV as it was perpendicular to bed). But the showers in both rooms are wonderful. Hotel rooms and hallways are very quiet (solid doors!). We enjoyed a couple of good dinners and breakfasts at the hotel’s restaurant (By George). Also easy walk to Ted’s Montana Grill which I highly recommend! close to MARTA train station to airport.

First and foremost I have to thank hotel management team members Jermaine and Lavette (front of house operations) who were SO KIND AND HELPFUL and made my family and me feel so at home. They went above and beyond to assist me during my stay. The hotel is beautiful from the facade to the lobby... some of the rooms are smaller due to the historic aspects of the building, and my initially assigned room was not large enough for my family. Jermaine and Lavette ensured I received a BEAUTIFUL room that made my stay unforgettable and I am always grateful.

Perhaps ensure that promotional photos match exactly the room being highlighted for sale along with the bathroom photos of said room so that customers can correctly choose the room expected. :-)

beautiful building, close to restaurants and downtown. everything was exceptionally clean. The rooms were spacious and the linens were spotless.

due to the nature of the location of the property, being in a downtown big city, we seen rats crossing the road on multiple occasions (although none inside the property). Also as soon as we arrived there was a man laying in the middle of the road and a homeless camp not very far from we’re this is located.

Super hotel. Staff go above and beyond to meet requests and ensure a comfortable stay. The gym is exceptional for a hotel. Just a block from a Marta station. There are two good breakfast/lunch spots on the same block. The hotel at times was busy but everything continued to operate smoothly and we did not experience any noise issues from our 11th floor room. Tip: Room numbers ending in -10, -11, and -12 have great city views and are quiet corner rooms.

Really just a small quibble. I ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant on just one day apparently after a very busy early morning period. The breakfast potatoes were obviously not freshly cooked and likely had been held under a heat lamp for some time. Also, only one piece of toast with the standard breakfast. However, the coffee was amazing!
