The rooms were very cozy and decorated very nicely with the Cabin Vibes. Our room has alot of Bear decor. The hand painting on the walls were really neat and very life like. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was made fresh daily and the banana and carrot Pancakes were amazing! Very close walk to Helen resturants and stores. The staff also helped bring our luggage to the rooms. I would highly recommend this cabin.
The only thing that sucked was the flights of stairs up to the cabins, but as I said earlier, the staff helped bring our luggage up to the cabin for us and helped bring it back down! Other than the stairs, I really have no other complaints.

Excellent stay at this property. Owners were very friendly & helpful w plenty of suggestions. Previous reviews were on point w regards to breakfast--just like being at home w homemade pancakes (had them w apples, pecans, other fillings), great eggs (not overcooked and dry), plenty of options and if they ran out of what was available, not a prob as they cooked more. Loved the decor of the room. It may have appeared a little worn but that added to the ambiance; the painted murals on the walls are memorable indeed as we kept finding ourselves asking if something was real vs mural. We had a cabin & the hot tub was a nice touch after spending the day on our feet. Location was great for in-town sites but a car is recommended if 1 wishes to see the surrounding area where waterfalls and hikes are located. Def recommend visiting this place; already planning our next trip.

(1) The room interior was superb. (2) A custom-cooked traditional breakfast was prepared onsite every morning. More than plenty was provided. (3) Everyone I met was friendly and offered to help in any way possible.
The property was much smaller than expected, which made it hard to find. I had to stop twice to ask locals, and the second time even a lady working across the street (who used to be a housekeeper at the Inn) wasn't sure where it was, although you could have hit it with a rock it was so close. Helen is a mountain town and the Black Forest B&B is perched on a steep hillside above the road, with severely limited parking. None of these issues is the fault of the property but visitors should be aware of them. The exterior looked run down at first and I wondered what I'd gotten myself into for my $600+, but the longer I stayed the better I appreciated the value.

The breakfast bar, self serve, consists of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, fresh fruit -strawberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, pineapple. Plus coffee, milk, orange juice, instant grits and oatmeal, dry cereal, pop tarts, granola bars, hot cocoa, pecan pancakes, French toast (upon request) Excellent staff-Angie, Darling(Darlene) Right on Main Street Jacuzzi and fireplace Lovely bath salts There was a koi pond and lovely lounge area. A swing made for two or more on the front lawn Our room had a fishing theme with paintings. Our bed was framed with trees that's branches could be used to hang clothes.

Man, everything went well! It was extremely hot upon arrival. My wife and I rode a Harley from Morrow, GA. Just as I got off my bike, I was greeted by the owner. He is great! He offered me a cold beer and we chatted for a while. The koi pond is awesome. Ask about the bear story ;>( The room we stayed in is a cabin, #7. Awesome room with a jacuzzi tub next to the bed... YEA! Stand up shower with a bathroom and sink. Nice clean towels and the room was in immaculate condition. There is a big flat screen to watch should you decide to stay in for a while. Cooked to order breakfast is amazing! Banana pancakes, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, bacon, and cereal is what I had. Good ol hearty and filling American breakfast! You will not leave hungry and the taste is amazing! Even cooked more fresh eggs for wifey... right out of the skillet to her plate! This place rocks and I will stay in no other place when visiting Helen, GA. Definitely recommend! The family that runs this place need to put out a hospitality video for all of the big resorts and hotels everywhere. What a nice group of folks. Oh yea, Helen is great too lol!
I don't know... offer me two beers? Nothing negative to say. If I had a bed/breakfast, Id run it just like this one. In fact, I just might do that.

We loved that we had a private cabin and not just a room. The double jacuzzi tub was amazing. The location of Black Forest B & B was perfect. You step outside and you are in the heart of it all. The cabin was very clean. The staff was super friendly and attentive.
The cabins are very cozy and romantic. The only thing that could have made it better would have been to have wine glasses and wine opener in our cabin, when we arrived. There is a bit of a climb to get to the cabin, so after a long drive and carrying luggage so many stairs, one just wants to relax with a nice bath and a glass of wine :)

It was beautiful around the waterfall area. The staff were absolutely fantastic. They gave recommendations of places to eat and visit. Breakfast was to die for. The pancakes were the best I’ve ever had. We had carrot one day and I don’t even like carrots but man I could have had them the second day. But the blueberry pancakes were just as good. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
It could use a face lift and the parking was a bit snug. I never did figure out how to watch the tv. And the hot water ran out before I filled my spa tub.

Everything!!! We stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary. It was amazing! Our room was exceptionally clean. The breakfast was different every morning and out of this world!!! The staff is beyond hospitable, generous, and super friendly...amazing!! We had a heart-shaped tub in our room, and it was so awesome! It is close to all festivities in Helen...within walking distance! This was one of the best stays of my life! The room was spacious and perfect atmosphere for relaxation and romance!

The location was perfect. We could quickly walk to all the shops, restaurants, biergarten, etc. Our room was so adorable. Very bavarian in character - so nicely decorated. Everyone was very friendly and extra helpful. Home made breakfast was so amazing. We had planned to get an early start on the road the day we were going home, but decided to leave later just to have that breakfast again.
Can't think of anything!!

- Great location, right in the heart of Helen. Five minutes walking distance from the town center. 10-15 minutes by car from other big attractions like Anna Ruby Falls or Yonah Mountain. - The hosts are absolutely amazing! They are both so sweet and accommodating. Terry is a terrific cook! Breakfast everyday was SO good! - The room is a nice size, with amenities like jacuzzi, microwave, kitchen sink, fridge, and TV. It even has a little closet to put your clothes away. Comes with plenty of shampoo bottles, towels, and even bath salts.
- The driveway can get a little dicey because it’s up a hill, but this is just a negative about mountains. - The location does have a little wear and tear, but the rooms are well kept. - Just make sure you ask for a room on the ground floor or so if you are older/disabled because we had to walk up 3-4 flights of stairs for ours.
