Hyatt Place Atlanta Duluth Johns Creek

The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Hotel staff members were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and were always very responsive to any request. The general area seems safe, and is convenient to restaurants and shopping. We had the need for an ambulance for one member of our party during the first night we were there, and the night desk attendant went out of his way to secure one for us in just minutes. We will certainly stay there again in the future!

The hot breakfast was adequate, but could be improved. The selection of hot items only included eggs, sausage links, oatmeal, and french toast sticks, and the eggs were overcooked both mornings we were there.

My stay was very comfortable and convenient for my business in John's Creek. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The Elevator is a little scary - floors don't lite up and it's just an older elevator. During the evening there was a horrible alarm that literally jolted me out of bed. I opened the door to see what was going on. Everyone down the hall was opening their doors wondering what was happening. I called the front desk and they said someone was smoking in the room and the alarm went off and everything was ok. Understandable and if a fire was happening that sure would have gotten me out of bed!

Location is great, we especially like the pond and walking paths behind the hotel. The staff is phenomenal as always. They are always willing to go above and beyond whenever they can.

Price was too high this time around. Breakfast wasn't as good this time around as it has been in the past. We have several minor things in room that were not working correctly. Sliding door on closet was off tracks, thumb latch on door kept falling off, one outlet wasn't working. We didn't report any of these as they were minor and we didn't want to deal with staff entering room when we weren't there.

The location was perfect. Very safe, clean, and convenient location close to everything. The hotel was very quiet during sleep hours, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious!! Staff did a great job of keeping the breakfast buffet well stocked and cleaned. My family and I loved our stay with the Hyatt!

There really was not anything negative that I can point out other than the staff not being able to provide the winning lotto numbers to us. :-) Everything was just perfect!!

it was comfortable, it looks clean. all amenities that you need are in the room, they even have small meeting area’s in the lobby

it is in the middle of nowhere for me. not really close to the center, so if you have a business meeting booked near to the hotel it is super, but if not, then you are an expensive Uber drive away from your destination. breakfast was okay, but nothing special, where we are in the south and you would expect some biscuits and gravy🤣

the first 3 nights we were there, the staff was amazing! Kevin and Alex were so kind and very helpful and the gentleman that worked in the kitchen was incredibly wonderful! The gentleman that cleaned the rooms was fantastic! my key card didn’t work ALOT because I kept putting it in my phone case which is magnetic though I didn’t know it at the time but that affects it. All of them were helpful in providing coffee for me for the time and re-issuing my card

the last morning we were there, there was a woman who was unbelievably rude, closed the breakfast bar early though there were 8 guests waiting for food. one of the guests said shimmering and was handled rudely. the breakfast isn’t great as far as selection, but as we stood there they were talking what little was out away so none of us could even get a glass of milk! they took the bagels eggs and sausage away as we were standing there! This only happened on Monday morning. the previous mornings, Saturday and Sunday with the staff that worked through Christmas, did not do that. the beds are uncomfortable

It was in a great location. Convenient to so many restaurants and shops. Most importantly, I felt safe! The staff was generally pleasant and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. We enjoyed having the pool to ourselves for the majority of the day.

The elevators are more than likely original to the building and are excruciatingly slow.

Great location, convenient to many restaurants and shops within a 10 minute drive. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot. Staff was overly friendly and always had a smile on their faces. Didn't hesitate to provide extra bedding and towels when asked. Breakfast was fresh and there was a nice variety (sausage, eggs, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, orange juice, apple juice, milk, water, fresh fruit, fruit cups, yogurt, coffee). Room was spacious. Large TV. conjoining rooms for those that need it. Quiet location.

I was expecting to be able to overlook the pond, but instead got street view (no biggie). Beds were full, so not the best for larger couples. AC isn't that powerful, but keeps room just cool enough. Drinks were outrageously priced down at the desk, but they can charge it to the room, so that was a plus. There were stink bugs crawling around on the ceiling. Water pressure was horrible and there was also a strong chlorine smell coming from the water, so don't advise drinking it.

This hotel is amazing! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. The young man that works the evening shift really stood out to us. At check in(who was the aforementioned young man and the facilities gentleman), I was asked about a microwave since we were staying so long. This was brought to the room very quickly. Extra towels were no problem. Breakfast was an excellent selection and tasty. I appreciated those touches. The room was very spacious, with multiple sinks (one at a 'wetbar' with a mini fridge, one near bathroom) and a large desk. I also loved the couch, it was a sleeper sofa but was an L shape so it was big enough for my family of 5 to sit on. This hotel does offer a laundry so I was pleasantly surprised, since it doesn't say that it's an amenity online. Management were out and present. Pool had towels and was in good condition as were the chairs and tables. We haven't stayed in Hyatt properties before, but will definitely be back to this location when we come back to town. We will seek out other Hyatt properties in hopes they live up to this locations' awesomeness!

If I were being extremely nitpicky, I would have liked to have more drawer clothes storage and the bed closest to the window is tough to get around the ac unit.

99% of this Hotel is AMAZING!! Location, cleanliness, friendliness, breakfast options!! Yum!

The other 1% - Bathroom space is not made for obese people like me (not the hotel's fault) , and I think they should place the holder for the Towels outside the Bathroom. That's all. No biggie. Just a few pointers
