Rustic cozy inn just right above the lake on a large hill with breathtaking views of the lake below it. The couple who run the place are inviting, accommodating and knowledgeable of the area they live in if you don't know your way around. We enjoyed having our own private hot tub in our suite. It was peaceful at night with no loud neighbors in any of the suites. We look forward to coming back again.

The water pressure was not that great in the shower and the drainage in the shower wasn't draining very well. But that is to be expected considering the age of the place and old galvanized piping.

The room was New York themed and it was beautiful! The ceiling had cloud lights that came with a remote to turn it on and off! The hot tub was nice and toasty, I do wish it got hotter though but that’s alright! The view of the lake is always perfect! The staff was super friendly and they delivered when I made requests, such as asking in advance to open the door to give my room fresh air!

The only few things I didn’t like about the experience was the bed and the hot tub. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and every time my spoused moved, it woke me up. The hot tub was nice but I wished the bubbles were more intense and I wish we could’ve made it hotter.

Very clean, tucked under the I-90 over pass with decks overlooking the lake. Enjoyed the uncrowded outdoor pool which was shaded. Our room was very comfortable and roomy and had a full hot tub and walk-in shower on one side! Separate bathroom, fridge sitting area and windows with privacy facing the woods.

This place is in need of repairs. Most are minor like peeling paint, board replacement, loose rocks that make up the stairs for the pool and some hand rails on the decks getting loose. Such a beautiful place with so much potential, lots of unused space, like a bbq area a more! I would be worried about small children unattended or a small dog not on a leash falling off the deck. Our hot tub area of the room was out dated and didn't have much lighting but we liked it. It had everything we needed though with extra towels in a basket and plenty of room around the tub. Feel bad that someone tried to update the subway tiles in the walk-in shower and messed up and never fixed it. They looked like they would have been fine! Property is owed by local people and hope they keep it that way.

I stayed here once before and had a pretty rough experience with the room being completely run down the hottub didn't work and was FILTHY. But I wanted to give it another shot and I'm so glad I did because this time was great the girl at the front desk was great the room was clean and most of all the hottub was AMAZING ....it looks like they are getting the place fixed up so I definitely recommend staying here

the only thing that I didn't like was the big a** spider that was in the curtain, I would definitely suggest they get some diy home defense spray and give the room a good check ..but I also understand that being in a wooded area as well as it being a older hotel there is only so much they can do.

Though the Bennett Bay Inn is a work in progess and the owners are in the middle of remodeling a very old property in a beautiful location. The buildings are still being renovated and updated but, though rustic, the rooms were very, very clean, beds comfy and was quite nice for the price. Towels were super soft. Property has a pool but it appears to also be under renovation. However, our view from our room of the lake was absolutely spectacular! I told Kelly the owner that once they finish renovating, they will have a real gem. I would definitely stay there again! Thank you Kelly for your hospitality and may God continue to bless you and your husband and staff as you continue the renovations.

Walking down to our room to the outside stairs seemed a little sketchy when we first got there and thought "gosh what will this be like down here at night." But, we were pleasantly surprised that tho the staircase is older, it is very sturdy, safe and the area is very well lit at night.

The views at this stunning property and the sheer sweetness and story of the owners. The sunsets, the overlook, the air... our room was very clean and so lovely to stay in.

The owners have been working on this place from the ground up. Expensive vital repairs to keep the place going means that you see the state of disrepair at the surface. If you are a person who can't appreciate a diamond in the rough, I recommend spending the extra $300 a night up the road.

Kelly and her husband are AMAZING people who make u feel like family when you come stay here. The sunset and sunrise over lake CDA is breathe taking and the hot tubs feel amazing!! Thank u for allowing me and my friends from Scarywood to finish off our season by renting your best rooms and having a final party in the Montana room. We will definitely be back again soon I hope! If not by next year!

This is an older motel, showing her age, which is not a bad thing. It was like my family summer cottage. Beds are comfy, just a tad soft, comforter like my grandmas. Everything was clean, enough towels, toiletries and room to relax. Fridge, microwave all good. Owners are on site, very friendly and accommodating. Recommended a good dining location, well priced. Loved being able to sit on the deck and watch the evening lake activities. Pool was great on the extremely hot day we arrived. This would be a great home base for taking kids to the lake

Soft bed, my husband couldn't sleep on it well, would be OK single sleeping. Not an area you can walk to amenities

The view is exceptionally the best of all. The lake, trees and sky are worth it. An amazing lightening show when it strikes the lake cannot be seen elsewhere. The price was right compared to other hotel/motels. Other places I called thought they were hot stuff and did not want to take my reservation directly over the phone; they rudely pushed me to use Booking.com which led me to this Inn. 'Their loss my gain, because of the friendliness and personalized handling of my reservation over the phone at Bennett.

I would prefer and did take up a superficial issue with the owner/manager. If you're looking for modern perfection, you won't be content here. I wish the hot tub had better accessibility for the physically handicapped.

The view was spectacular. The place is currently under some renovations. Its about 70 years old so keep that in mind. If you like great views and old school rustic motels with themed rooms you are in for a great time. Large balconies, fire pit, barbecue on site. Pet friendly and a great location for day use of the amazing Coeur d'Alene lake.Boat launch and trailer parking minutes away.Comfortable beds and killer water pressure. Had a smoking good time.Full size refrigerator electric stove and oven

Parking is a bit tight.
