Great location in downtown Carbondale for visiting a student. Really enjoyed the outdoor set up in the front. The room was clean and the bathroom was nice. Included a kitchenette and hot plate if needed. After checking in, room service texted to check in that everything was ok with the room. They also checked in the following day which was nice in case we had needed anything. Husband is a train fan so he slept on the side of the bed facing the window to watch for those. He thoroughly enjoyed that!

Nothing, everything fit our expectations!

Very clean, rooms were well appointed and organized. The location is very convenient. We didn’t use the fitness room but it was well equipped and looked very clean.

Breakfast was ok but didn’t resemble the photos in any way, and there was a wait for clean plates, coffee, some food. Front desk staff were fairly efficient but didn’t smile and greet us when we walked in, we didn’t feel very welcomed. Exception was a (security?) guy who was very friendly and greeted us every morning

1. The ice machine on our floor was broken. 2. The outside side door didn’t work the first night we were there so we had to walk to the front everyone we came in 3. Parking was limited

It was clean, great location close to the University. Breakfast was convenient and better than your average continental breakfast.

The water pressure in the bathroom sink and shower was very low. The pool was closed “for maintenance” and we didn’t know until we got there. We definitely intended on utilizing for our short stay.

The hotel is in nice location. Facilities are well maintained and clean. Most rooms have one queen bed and one sofa bed, that is great for 2 persons but could be small for 4-person party. Stuff are very helpful.

The town seems small without many eating options, especially during holiday (close earlier).

it was a lot of loud kids running up and down hallways first thing in the morning and this place is right behind a train depo or something cause a lot of train horns pillows where garbage

Staff always friendly. Fabulous location within walking distance to great bars, restaurants & SIU. Great rates!

Would have been wonderful if property had an outdoor pool. Still summer weather & would have been nice to be in sun & water.

It was very clean and the staff were great. I requested extra towels and were in my hands within minutes. Would definitely book with them again.

It was very clean. The staff was friendly. it met our needs. Very comfortable bed.

Like many hotels, the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great. The breakfast wasn’t impressive, the fruit wasn’t ripe and there wasn’t much to choose from. In their defense most hotels are this way.

It had some interesting foods (the egg bowls). I liked the variety of yogurt. I was VERY impressed that the hot water for the tea didn't taste like coffee grounds.

There could have been more of a variety of tea. The only caffeinated tea was Constant Comment. There could have been more parking spaces.
