Great space - clean, well-appointed, comfortable bed

The apartment was very loud - not street noise, but hydraulics and machinery from both nearby apartments (water and flushing - mostly during hours that you’d probably be up anyway), AND the elevator or building HVAC at all hours. For a short stay it was fine, and I don’t really mind putting a pillow over my head to keep sleeping. But I’d be furious if I was paying rent and lived there. Maybe that’s why this unit (and others too) are not leased to tenants and instead run as short term…

What a wonderful concept! For us grandparents with grandchild on spring break, it was perfect - two bedrooms, two bathrooms, dining & living areas, full kitchen pretty well equipped, washer-dryer. We were able to "eat in" much of the time getting groceries from the nearby Target or favorite meals delivered. Nice to have complementary coffee and tea in the room. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Roku on the TV - bring your own passwords for Netflix, etc. Convenient (paid) parking on-site. The location was excellent for visiting the Chicago loop and museums using short Uber rides. For the most part, the on-line communication with Kasa worked very well and we got prompt updates/replies. A tip for future Kasa So Loop renters - there is a lobby and a reception desk at the first floor entrance, but this is for the apartment dwellers in the building, not for you. Front desk was a bit indifferent to us "turistas". Apartment 1320 has fabulous views to the west that made up for all the "small stuff" below.

The apartment was a little worn; management needs to make sure the "small stuff" doesn't add up to a downgrade in the future. For unit 1320: Tighten/replace kitchen faucet; replace coffee maker (grounds everywhere); replace living room blinds on the north side; repair lock on balcony door; replace scuffed dining room and living room tables. Would be nice to have another comfortable sitting chair in living room/TV area. In all units, please make sure bedrooms have at least one chair and a luggage rack. Consider having at least one ADA accessible unit available for rent at each of your buildings.

This is the second time we stayed in this property, which offers the best value and comfort for families/groups who want to be close to Chicago downtown, want to use a car (parking space is great and very affordable for Chicago standards) and yet enjoy the comfort of high-end and well equipped apartments. Grocery stores, restaurants and other services are very close which makes it easy to do food shopping, take-out or dining out. Contactless access is great.

Staff was very helpful, however it is important to know there is no KASA staff at the premise. The concierge is there only for the permanent residents in the building and, although everyone is nice, one cannot help the feeling that Kasa occupants are second-class citizens.

Directions and check-in instructions very clear and detailed. Entrances inviting, flowers, maintained. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The views from the room and balcony were A-MAZ-ING! Bed linens and mattress were most comfortable. Extra linens and pillows available. Perfectly furnished and decorated. Location to train station, Target, river and restaurants just PERFECT. TV was easy to use. It was all great and we WILL be back!

Front desk staff not very engaging. Frowning, looking bored, often didn't look at you or greet you (except to correct you) upon entering, but that was ok, not necessary. Rooftop access was supposed to be 6am (to see sunrise!) but it wasn't open until 7a,. I tried online help and got prompt responses but they just kept saying "do you have your fob?" DUH. Of course I did. AND then repeated the hours it was open. I was standing there! And it didn't open until 7am. I suspect Programmed not for Daylight Savings Time. I might also suggest some sort of nice, heavy duty, curtain on a ceiling track, between bedroom and living room so if one person still sleeping, the other can get up and make coffee with less light for person sleeping. ALL of these are VERY minor suggestions.

The view from the balcony was nice (Lake Michigan and the park) This place was walking distance to so many things we wanted to see and do, it was great! The kitchenette was good, so we could snack/cook/eat in when we were tired from walking, the rooftop area had a great view and was a fantastic place to watch the sun go down. The parking (22/night) was inexpensive compared to nearby places, and had in/out privileges without requiring valet, which was convenient for our plan (bringing some food to the place). Four elevators in the 24-story building meant never waiting long for an elevator. Extra bonus: The place is pet friendly, so we got to see more dogs!

Good location, close to the station so avoided a slow and expensive cab from the airport. Great views from the 16th floor. Great facilities and comfortable furniture/bed.

Hired a car and wanted to use the garage for the last night before using the car to move on. I was quoted $122 (the full value of my stay) for 1 nights parking. Having spent > $1000 to stay I thought that this was grossly unfair. I made alternative arrangements and was inconvenienced.

We stayed in a studio and it was a very good experience. There was a lot of storage space, the kitchen and laundry room were well equipped and the place had a nice view. It was easy to find, parking was straightforward and there were great coffee shops and restaurants at a walking distance. We didn't have time to use all the facilities, but they looked great.

This was not inexpensive, and while it had everything we needed, I do wish it was more affordable (or at least that the long stay discounts were more significant)

The apartment was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, in-unit laundry and parking included (a huge plus if you rented a car to get from the airport or are driving in). Amazing view of the Willis (aka Sears Building) from the balcony - see photo. Clean and well stocked with hand & body soap, shampoo, conditioner and plenty of pillows & towels. Beds were super comfy, too! Convenient location to the Loop - easy walk to bus and L train stations. Everything from start to finish of our reservation was easy - super clear instructions sent via text & email with detailed walkthrough and photos. Questions were answered quickly and clearly. All around top notch!

The pickiest traveler might complain that the property details are aging (garbage disposal & washing machine a tad smelly, master bath shower pipes squeal at certain water temp positions) but it didn’t mar our enjoyment of the property at all

I thought that the check-in process was very easy and seamless. The room was clean and well stocked and as I thought it would be. The people were friendly and the location was very good.

I felt that the mattress was very firm and I actually had some back and hip pain after the first two nights. It got a little better as my stay went on. The living room couch and chair were underwhelming. I fell these could be a little nicer and more comfortable. Additionally, the eating table was a little small and the chairs pretty cheap,

We loved everything about it. Great location, awesome easy parking, wonderful unit with well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, great view. The only issue was that the bathroom door doesn’t stay closed. It keeps popping open unless you block it with something. We’re married so it wasn’t a big deal for us. it really needs to be fixed though.
