Location is one of the most important features of this hotel, as it's very close to a lot of important attractions. The room was clean, and the room service was excellent. There is a restaurant ( Elephant & Castle) on the ground floor connected to the hotel, where we had our included breakfast meals, and sometimes we had dinner as well. There is also a guest room, exclusive for hotel's customers, located below reception, where anybody could have free coffee or tea at any time.

The building is not new, and the decorations in the room are not very modern, but it is well maintained and comfortable. The only thing that may be a little disturbing is the AC, which makes a considerable noise while working.

Absolutely stellar location. Walking distance from all central attractions and within 1.5 blocks of multiple subway/train lines (on central loop) for everything else. Value was excellent. The room was clean, comfortable and nice for the price. Could have been more luxurious of course, but not without spending FAR more. Overall stellar choice - value and location were amazing. I certainly don't regret not spending more. Would certainly recommend to friends.

Housekeeping didn't come every day. Room service dishes took a while to get picked up. Basic room was a tiny bit small and bathroom could have been a bit more updated. No tub.

The bed was really comfortable, and the entire room was very adequate with everything you may need, including a small kitchenette. The staff at the front desk is kind and helpful. The location was also very good. You can walk to the main tourist areas, and it's only 4 minutes walking distance from the subway Monroe blue line that leads you from / to O'hare airport.

The views from my bedroom weren't the best, but this didn't bother me too much. The only thing that was annoying was the noise of the bedroom next door where the guests were playing music too loud late in the night, I went down to the lobby and the person at the front desk handled the situation professionally. I suggest the hotel remember the guests about certain rules to avoid these situations.

The sitting room is off to the side, so it was a quiet place to sit and relax after running around the city. I liked the ice cold filtered water there too, but the best part is the location. It was close to good restaurants, the Art Institute, park, etc… The check-in people gave kind explanations on how to check in, where to eat, what to see and how to get there.

The bed light is too bright. The place to put suitcase was built in the small closet, so it was difficult to use since I couldn’t pull it out. The bathroom is a little dated but overall it was fine.

As always Club Quarters is in an excellent location in downtown Chicago. Elephant and Castle being next door is a wonderful bonus (ate there twice) The staff is most helpful and attentive. Even though it was a crowded weekend, we didn’t notice any excessive noise from other guests.

My ONLY complaint would be the ac unit in the room. It worked, but not consistently. I kept having to turn it down a notch to get it to kick on.

This is in a fantastic location! You can hit several of the biggest attractions (The Art Institute, Willis Tower, The Bean, Buckingham Fountain, Navy Pier, Chicago Theater, the large Calder & Picasso statues & The Rookery is directly next door) The attached Elephant & Castle pub has an incredible breakfast that was included in the room cost. Great location for some very cool architecture as well. Chilled, filtered water station with bottles on each floor.

The rooms are small but worked well for two of us. The room itself seemed a bit outdated including the bathrooms. The self locking doors are a nice feature but they are very loud. I could hear my neighbors exiting and entering many times throughout the night.

Ask for a higher floor room around the back and you will get a quiet night's sleep despite the central location in downtown Chicago. Bed and pillow was very comfortable. Room temperature is adjustable. Big TV. Shower is fine. Other facilities in the room perfectly adequate. Very good location just 5 minutes from the subway, various buses and the State Street shops, 10 minutes to the river, etc. Busy English pub next door which is good for breakfast, good beers and sports like soccer, rugby and F1

Small room but typical for a budget, downtown hotel. Basic gym and no other facilities downstairs but there is still space for a lounge. Room is a little worn and only gets cleaned every third day.

- all staff were friendly - water bottle station on each floor so you could refill/reuse at any time - spacious room with good facilities e.g. water pressure of shower - quick and efficient housekeeping

- wanted to extend our stay by an extra day and when enquired at front desk was told to book it myself online and then return to check out then check out by in, which wasn't an issue but never had to do this in past, usually staff are able to extend the stay on their end without needing to make a new booking requiring a check out then re-check in

Water hydration station, ability to pair device with TV, the virtual text guide was a cool feature

The couch material was irritating to the skin. Had to ask for extra sheets to cover it. The room set up was weird though, couch/living room area with TV right next to “bedroom” with TV and no door between was strange. Would make more sent to have the couch/TV set up switch places with the larger mirror. Disappointing that breakfast wasn’t included with the price of the stay.

My wife and I really enjoyed this hotel. Room was spacious and it had a microwave, fridge, closet , table, smart tv, and few chairs. Bathroom was good too but shower was bit small. The bed was our favorite thing!! it was super comfy . Also, they have free water in every floor. They even provide empty bottles (new and sealed) and you can refill water anytime you want. Hotel is super well located and you can walk to a lot of places or use public transportation. Everything was great! No inconvenience. This was just a basic room or at least that’s what I paid for

Honestly, only thing was the shower! it was too small but either way wasn’t a big deal because you won’t be taking an all day shower lol
