I like the service of Mr. Humberto. He was very kind and nice. Mr.Humberto helped me to change to a bigger room. Also Mr. Art was kind and polite with his service. Different from the young lady behind the desk. The lady behind the counter was rude.

I didn’t like the young lady’s attitude. She was not doing her best for the guest when it was possible.

The property was good, centrical close to downtown close to transport close to restaurants no problem

About the property nothing everything so good the hotel was comfortable the problem was Mr Carlos the receptionist he had so bad actitud since my husband and I arrived we need to wait around 2 hours for our room because it was a disability room and he can’t not have ready and to me that’s so bad for a disabled person next he gives us a room so dirty and the housekeeper told us that why he do that if he knows which rooms are available and which not and we need to wait again so bad this person the hotel was good but not this person and when I left he doesn’t want me my receipt because “was a reservation online “ and I always make my reservations online and they give me my receipts oh well bad actitud for this horrible person

The hotel is exactly like the picture, the lobby is lovely. The rooms are just dated. They are really clean and we stayed for 3 nights and every morning our room was cleaned. The staff are super helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a cheap hotel which is in the loop this is the hotel for you. Don't be put off by the pictures or some people's reviews. We got the blue Line from the airport and got off at La Salle Station. The hotel is less than a 10min walk. The diner attached to the hotel is so yummy for breakfast and reasonably priced.

Room was very spacious and clean. Beds were comfy. It was also nice that there was some one there in the evening who was checking for room keys when people entered the hotel to ensure that people didnt just walk in off the street. Nice access to public transport.

The staff wrote us in advance where to park, they advised us to park across the street for around $40 per 24 hours. However, when we arrived the parking across the street was much more expensive. We had to wait for the receptionists to finish their conversations before we could be served. It felt that we were inconveniencing them with our presence.

We were upgraded to a very spacious room with a kitchenette with microwave, mini-fridge, sink and coffee maker. Updated bathroom very clean, water drained well in bathtub, nice thicker towels, clean room, two closets, good sized desk, lamp and chair. Quiet rooms, thick walls. Plenty of places nearby to walk to for food and entertainment.

Very limited space on bathroom vanity, only a small shelf for cup and toothbrush/toothpaste. Had to use the ironing board as a surface for setting other toiletries. Another chair in the room would have been useful as well as a table, there was plenty of space in the large room. The elevators needed cleaning. Hallway on our floor had very dirty lumpy carpeting, it was difficult to roll our luggage on it.

Room was very comfortable and clean! The staff was very welcoming and friendly! Highly recommend!

We were NOT told at check in that housekeeping would come into our room every 3rd day, we told the manager about it and he did nothing about it for our stay and/or offer a discount for this mishap and not letting us know at check-in! This was totally unacceptable, as we had personal things in our room, that were not put away! We give this hotel a 5 star review, as everything else was excellent!

I like the location and the courtesy of the staff. Also, I like that the bathroom was clean and the room itself.

I did not like that one of the beds had sheets that didn't look clean. The pillows were clean but the sheets looked dowdy. They gave me sheets so I put it on top of what was there so I could sleep. They said the maid leaves at 4:30 pm. Also, the carpet looked like it has never been cleaned since it was installed. The room can do with new carpet. This part made me feel uncomfortable.

You cannot beat this location! Easy walking to the things you want to do most in Chicago - and the nearest L station is also a short walk, to get you anywhere else you want to go. Nice staff, easy check-in. The hotel itself is nice. The room we had (deluxe double) was old and worn out, but quite large! The beds were comfortable.Very small bathroom. Has a small fridge which is always nice. For the relatively low rate we paid, it met my expectations. All in all, I'd stay there again!

Great location, about 20mjns walk from Union station but plenty public transport options. Convenient base for exploring downtown, the Bean etc. In a student area so lots of eating options including a cafe next door which did excellent breakfasts. In the middle of a student area lots of Campus security in the area which made it feel safe. Hotel was being used one day to film sn episode of Chicago fire!!- I thought it was a fireman's convention at first- minimal disruption to hotel guests and was quite exciting to watch. Staff friendly and helpful.
