Michigan Ave 808 obviously is in a great location: next to Grant Park and to a METRA station (you are in 20 minutes at the University of Chicago), 15 Minutes to Lake Michigan (and a water taxi stop), 10 Minutes to the Art Institute (and there is a very nice bakery at the corner and a Trader Joe‘s not far). I enjoyed the studio I stayed in very much: much space, modern furniture, view (partly overlooking Grant Park), many lights and plug-ins, great WLAN, all kinds of kitchen utensils, big bathroom, good products (shampoo, body cream etc.) + the building feels very secure (entrance key, elevator key), you have your own mailbox, everything is top cleaned and there is small swimming pool at the 7th floor and even if you don‘t feel like swimming go there just for the view. What really stands out for me is the the friendliness and the competence of the staff. Everyone is very welcoming, they help you in no time with (seemingly) whatever question you have. I have stayed in lots of places — this for sure is one of the best.

The price for the studio might seem to be on the higher side, but given all the amenities Sentral Michigan Ave offers it is really good value. I definitely will be back.

I loved the location. coming back to my hometown, the view made my stay very special. the hot tub was so nice and I felt very welcomed.

the only problem was that we could not use the TV. even when I wanted to order a movie, I was unable to get anything. That was huge considering I really wanted to relax and wind down with a movie, or a show...anything.

The seventh floor was excellent. The apartment was very clean and ready.

They could really use a coach in the studio. It was either sit on the bed or sit at a hard kitchen table for two. The amount of information required to book and get in the door was excessive. Thought I was being scammed. Did research to make, Sure they are real.

Really easy self check in process, good directions from front desk. Always the facilities were amazing and the front desk lady told us clearly how to user the gym, pool etc. All in all a very easy experience and made even better via booking.com emails.

The room had a double bed, 4 plates, 4 lots of cutlery, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Everything you need for a couple to stay. But then it had a dinning room table with one chair..?? Where is the other person supposed to sit? I would have rated this 10/10 but gave it a 9 as apparently the policy is only one chair per room which is ridiculous. Two chairs please, we dont ask for much!! Every breakfast my wife sat at the table and I had to sit 10 feet away on the bed. Not cool.

The location was awesome and close to a lot of destinations and restaurants, and the view from our room was truly a great value. We even decided to not do the 360 city view experience because our room view was enough. The room was very modern and furnished nicely, and overall clean except for the particular sheets we got. Shower pressure was good, and there was a stove and fridge in our studio apartment, which was nice.

Our sheets weren’t fully clean (some questionable stains), and our first night was stressful because of our neighbors having an incredibly loud pool party with screaming kids and yelling moms. The manager warned them to quiet down and they started leaving, but the walls are very thin and a lot of noise comes in from the hallways. Ear plugs solved the problem very well, and we appreciated the quick response from management. Our bed was also squeaky and slid on the floor sometimes.

The location was fabulous, overlooking Grant Park, with views of the lake. The facilities in the studio apartment were great, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, washing machine and tumble drier. Plenty of storage space, including in the bathroom. It’s a nice touch that there’s coffee available In reception in the mornings. It was a lovely place to stay while we visited for the Blues Festival. The pool area is gorgeous, with sun beds and sofas. Shops and restaurants nearby. Bus stop outside.

Loved it! I think the only thing that I’d have liked are hooks to hang robes etc in the bathroom, but that’s a minor detail.

Nice place to stay, clean and comfortable room with everything supplied (towels, soap, kitchen towel etc). There is a pool available as well as mutual spaces to bbq etc. Nice views out of the window. There is coffee in the morning. Good location, close to the city center. I would come back.

There was only one badge for the elevators in our room. After asking for a second one (because we were in a double room) immediately after arrival, we only received the second badge after 5-6 days, which was unfortunate.

Sentral has a great location, a lot of bus stops around, two CTA stations within 10 min walks and metra station 5 min away, which worked great for us since we were going to de McCormick center which also has a metra station. The flat is beautifully furnished, the bed and pillows were great, the kitchen is well equipped and you are providded with cleaning soap for dishes and clothes, as well as shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The gym is great too, well equipped, we didn't go into the pool because we didn't bring any swuimsuits but ir was beautyful, indoor and had a great view. I would definety saty here again in my next visit to Chicago

I guess staff could be friendlier, they are nice and helpful, just didn't go above and beyond to make you feel welcome

We rented this because it was right next door to the venue for a family wedding. The space was great for two couples and a 3mo old. They where very helpful with check-in and check-out, especially since we don’t travel light with a baby. Parking was easy right around the block. The location is great for tourist spots and on public transportation. The amenities where great to have a space to relax after a day of sight seeing. Would absolutely recommend.

The rooms could use a once over with fresh paint and scuffs removed from the walls.

The location was perfect and the kitchen was really nice. The layout of furniture could probably be better, but everything was comfortable. I didn't use the amenities because I was busy, but they looked very nice. The apartment definitely has better insulation than a hotel so it was quiet and it felt safe for a solo traveler.

The apartment could have been cleaner. The bedside table had rings on it and the windows were dirty (inside). The shower had a temperature regulator on it that kept the water from ever getting warm enough. People definitely didn't keep to the no smoking rules. Lots of pot being consumed on my floor.
