Terrible location, there is no parking at the hotel, they open a public garage for you, you have to go out and look for the hotel, there is no indication that there is a hotel, the hotel is located on the 39th floor, it took more than 30 minutes to get there. being able to access the hotel, booking does not notify you that you have to pay $30.00 for parking, I had a trailer and in the morning I found a ticket, saying that trailers are not accepted, I would return to this hotel only if I don't have a car

The lake views were amazing. The bed was perfectly comfortable. Everything was super clean.

There were no signs for the actual hotel. The hotel entrance and lobby was NOT easy to find. The sauna is not available to hotel guests during the weekend.

Fantastic view! Had a great view of the city, including Willis Tower. Even though we were in a "city view" room, we could see a nice portion of the lake, including Navy Pier, as well. The room was very nice and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were absolutely the best. Steve at the front desk was incredibly nice and helpful each time we spoke with him.

There wasn't anything bad about our stay. I guess the only room for improvement could be the breakfast. It wasn't bad by any stretch and was very convenient. Don't expect hot eggs, pancakes or anything like that. You'll find bagels, toast, yogurt, coffee, tea, instant oatmeal, cereal... things like that. For the small number of rooms it felt appropriate.

Our room had a spectacular view! Lake, city, and landmark views... the room was spacious, and the bed was really comfortable. The fridge was stocked with drinks for purchase along with some snacks for purchase, too. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants as well as Union station and the willis tower. Easy access to the L train and busses.

Room needs updates, shower head was getting loose, and on a windy night, you can hear the howling or screeching of the wind through the windows. If you are someone who likes nose at night, I would recommend bringing a fan. There is no microwave in the room.

Beautiful hotel on the top floor. Really calm room with awesome view and very big. Even had a bath! What I especially liked was the very big and high quality gym and sauna that I could use located on the lower levels. Complimentary thea and breakfast was nice. I forgot 2 suit jackets and the staff (big shout out to Ron) was really helpful in making sure I could retrieve those items on time before I flew back to Holland. For parking I liked that I only had to pay a one time fee when I left (30 bucks) which is great since I could park there for a few days). I would definitely recommend someone who wants an awesome city view, large quit room, friendly staff and a gym!

Gym is not open 24-7 and closes in the weekend. The hotel can't help that since the gym is external (but inside the same building which is great).

It was somewhat of a historic feel and beautiful! the views were amazing and the athletic club was an absolute awesome experience!

The security staff was super helpful and great for the most part but they had an unwelcoming feel at the very end of the visit. When I asked to confirm directions, the security staff was dismissive and acted annoyed. I’m not sure if they are separate from the hotel, but it is certainly off putting to pay to stay and have staff act like this. I think there needs to be some training in better manners or at least some understanding as to their role with facility guests so that guests don’t look to them as helpful pointers like concierge if that’s not their role.

The VIEW of Lake Michigan and the city was absolutely stunning from our 40th floor room! Our room was large and beautifully decorated. Very clean too! The $30 parking option for 24h was appreciable and allowed us to move around the city with Uber.

Understanding how to transition from the garage to the Hotel without going outside was a challenge that can be overwhelming with suitcases and after a long ride. The bed was way too soft for us. The lighting in the bathroom was a bit too dim and no microwave in the room.

Great staff and Beautiful views! Major thank you to the 2 gentleman that we’re working the night shift that night. At Checkin the front desk guy was extremely helpful. He helped us figure out what was our best parking option and even walked us through all 2 elevators and security to make sure we didn’t get lost and knew how everything worked. He even went out of his way to help us out with our luggage all through the 40 floors of the building. Then later that night, the second front desk gentleman went to our room and helped fix the TVs when they weren’t working. Everything these two did was much appreciated! And besides the awesome staff, the views truly are amazing 😍 I had a corner view room where I was able to see all the way from the Willis Tower up to the Planetarium. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to other!

The only thing that was a little unfortunate was that I was a TV instead of a zoom seems to have no stranger signal when we got there. But one of the front just agents was able to help us.

The hotel is very secure there was a huge police presence and I felt good that you had to badge in multiple places to get into the hotel. The view was absolutely stunning day and night. Staff members were friendly and helpful

I didn't realize the amenities were closed on the weekend. Parking was a bit confusing and I wish you could access the hotel with out going outside <maybe there is a way and we weren't explained correctly>

We arrived late to the property, took a little bit for us to find it but once we got in it was a very smooth process. The gentleman on reception was very helpful and got us sorted quickly. Room was beautiful with the lake view, it was like two different views both at night and during the day. We were in Chicago for the marathon and it was great to see the start line location from our window. We got out for an explore and ran along the lake front in the morning and got back then to avail of the lounge and breakfast offerings. It was perfect for us. As we arrived so late, the Buckingham extended our checkout time so as we could at least get ourselves sorted after a long flight the night before. They looked after our cases after we checked out as we were heading to the marathon expo, it was great to be able to avail of this and made the day much easier. Lovely hotel, great staff, fabulous room, massive comfortable bed, overall a really great experience. Thank you.
