Holiday Inn Express Rockford-Loves Park, an IHG Hotel

Location was great and right off the interstate. Everything was very clean. Front desk staff was very helpful with any questions and quick to check us out when we got snacks.

Although I thought I reserved a king suite without a handicapped bathroom, unfortunately I did. I should have asked for a different room to make this available for someone who may have needed it. Bathroom counter didn't allow for storage for extras. New shades/curtains run by auto touch were difficult to use so we just left them down. Never enough towels. If you know 2 people are staying for 4 nights their should be 8 bath towels not just 2 or 3, then having to ask for more daily.

Location of breakfast was excellent

I thought charging $50/night for my small dog 20 lbs that is crated was ridiculously outrageous! Plus charging a refundable security deposit on top of that fee. We have stayed here before but will seek other hotels for our needs in the future.

Location, rooms have a frig, microwave, VERY comfortable beds. The breakfasts are wonderful! Love the mirrors and the backlit cabinets.

Pool was under maintenance. We switched rooms because the air conditioning was not working. It was 100 degrees outside. In the first room when I went to call the front desk, something had been spilled fruit water or something (still wet) in the phone rest of the phone. The television guide didn’t line up with the channels.

The beds were very comfortable

The cost for our small dog per night was too much. We stayed at La Quinta for 4 days prior to our Holiday Inn stay and it was only $20 per day for our 15 lbs dog. I was charged $50 per day here and that’s a bit much compared to others.

The beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept on at a hotel. The hotel was very clean. The pool was very clean and warm. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was so extremely helpful and friendly. I definitely will stay there again.

Beds were very comfortable - room oversized and perfect for 3 adults. Breakfast hit the spot. Super bummed, though, I could not get my member points as I booked through HotelBooking.com.

I would like to have been able to add stay to my member points as room rate was high

Location was immediately off the interstate and plenty of places to eat. Staff was very friendly and followed all the current virus guidelines and was courteous to make sure guests were following guidelines as well. Danielle provided us with 2 free waters even though I did not ask for them.

The bed was uncomfortable but I understand you can't please everyone. Although the current status of covid eliminates alot of the dining experience like breakfast, I think the vending machines (both candy and soda) could have been available to guests. We had to hand our money to the guest services behind the counter and they had to put our money in the machine and give us the soda or chips. That was quite extreme even for Illinois.

every parking spot was pretty convenient to the entrances, rooms were super clean, nice full stand up shower and endless hot water. beds super comfortable and ac blew so cold!

I didn’t find anything really negative

Serving for breakfast was a good idea, the staff was excellent. Everything met expectations. Would have been nice to enjoy pool, next time. Room good, glad for frig and micro.

The entrance could have been more attractive. There was not a Bible in the drawer. It is nice to have one in the room so I can read at night. Please put them back in! Thank you.

This hotel was exceptionally clean. The breakfast area was managed with highest caution concerning Covid 19 transmission we had seen on our trip.

No complaints about this hotel.
