We stayed two nights in this place. Literally a stone's throw from the French Quarter, super convenient. The beds are located on the mezzanine, which is accessed via a steep spiral staircase. Ditto at night if you have to go to the bathroom. The room is very well soundproofed considering that there are clubs open 24/7 all around. Downstairs there are fridge, kitchen, table, sofas and everything you need. Very large space. Si accede alla struttura tramite un codice da digitare sulla porta. Abbiamo fatto il check-out molto presto e lasciato le chiavi in un luogo da loro segnalato, senza dover aspettare l'apertura della reception. Tip: don't use the expensive multi-storey car parks around to park, but you can leave your car on the street 5 minutes' walk away for much less. The only precaution, in the morning you will have to wake up early to renew the parking meter. But you don't pay for the night (unique case among big American cities :)

The only criticism I have is that the air conditioning vents are exactly above the headboard of the bed. As it is very noisy and turns on and off many times at night, you will be woken up all the time.

I can't even begin to put into words how amazing the staff, location , rooms and just overall vibe is at Maison Pierre Lafitte. My husband and I have stayed before and will continue to stay here every time we come to New Orleans. The rooms have that historic New Orleans real feel, but do not mistake that as old and needs updating. Our room had beautiful ceiling fans, beautiful art work adorning high brick walls and wood accented ceilings. Comfortable bedding, and all the little extra's are thought of with the toiletry's and bathroom items. Even the little things like the make up wipes and make up face towel are thought off! There is access to a couple balcony's. Our room this time, we walked straight out the door onto the balcony that overlooked canal street. We had so much fun sitting out there people watching, and watching the party buses go by at night. Oh how I wish I would have got on one of those when I was younger visiting this amazing city! We are a little older now, so we love to take our stroll up Bourbon Street, which by the way is a convenient block away, no uber or taxi needed!! You can enjoy coffee in your room or even down by the front desk. Speaking of the front desk!!! You will not find a check in desk staff better then these ladies! They go above and beyond to amaze you with their customer service. They are so thoughtful, kind and pleasant and do everything they can to accommodate your any special requests. Of course they have limits so don't go asking them for the moon to be delivered, but within reason they will do their best to accommodate you and never act like you are bothering them! Always pleasant even when check in and out time when they get busy! I could go on for days telling you how much I love this place and can not wait to come back. Already trying to round up some friends so we can return!!

There is nothing that I can say I do not like about this hotel!! As a matter of fact, all I would do is use this comment box to rave about this place more!! The location of this hotel is perfect for no matter what your visit to the city is for and you won't find a hotel staff better then here!

I loveeeeeeed the location!! Right on Canal Street and super close to all the main sites in New Orleans. We walked everywhere. The host was SOOO nice and very accommodating (even though we did not need anything she made sure to ask numerous of times), i wish i got her name. The beds in the loft were very comfortable. The room was very spacious and the access to the balcony was a major plus! **not a private balcony** The lighting from the windows in our room was amazing too.

Again I loved this place and i will definitely come back. However, I would say if anything needs to be upgraded is the bathroom. I think it was cleaned and well kept but since it is so dated it feels alittle dirty and dingy. Maybe the tub can be replaced with a shower and the toilet with a newer one and a fresh white paint job can do the trick.

I love the rooms and the location close to everything you can see so much from the balcony stores and restaurants all up and down the sidewalk everything is walking distance. and Miss. Lauren at the front desk was amazing two blocks from Bourbon Street if or whenever I'm in New Orleans I will be staying there again The rooms were very spacious 404,405,406,407,205 we had the best time ever the beds were like sleep on clouds. If you're ever in New Orleans it's a must stay.

The staff of the hotel went above and beyond my expectations, they were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel is so quaint, and in the perfect location to walk anywhere in New Orleans. The hotel was the perfect stay for the price.

The location can be a tad loud. If you're looking for a modern hotel, this is not the hotel for you, this hotel is outdated, but it's totally what gives it such charm. I honestly am nit picking trying to come up with anything I "didn't" like about the hotel/stay. We honestly loved every minute of it!

Two friends and I stayed in the loft! It was very nice. We even found out there was a full size bed upstairs while a king size was downstairs. This hotel is literally right in the middle of good attractions. We planned everywhere we wanted to go before we can and once we got there literally everything was in walking distance except one restaurant. Bourbon street was only like 2-3 blocks. If you want a more chill thing the hotel has a balcony that wraps around the building.

I loved everything about the property

The location was so amazing, just a few blocks from bourbon st. I came for my 21st birthday and the manager Neil was the absolute best, when he found out I was coming for my birthday he set up a couple balloons and decorations the room, He also gave some great recommendations for places to go. The room was comfortable and had a good set up for making a little food when we didn’t want to go out. loved the little spiral staircase up to the bed area. Felt like a small apartment not a hotel room. The balcony is a nice place to sit and have coffee in the morning or a nighttime smoke after having some drinks. Can’t recommend this place enough, when I come back I will 100% be staying here. It’s not your typical hotel, definitely has a homey comfortable feel to it.

If you are leaving luggage on the last day of your stay make sure to have a set time to pick it up, We had some problems picking ours up but that was definitely partially on us for not being specific.

lLocation is very good…2 blocks from Bourbon/Canal entrance. 1 block from Saenger theater & directly across street is Ritz Carlton. We were in 401 which was quiet & peaceful. Historical, clean building. If you love boutique hotels you’ll love this…if you enjoy high rise new buildings this wouldn’t be for you. Room 401 had great water pressure, separate main area from bedroom with door, & comfy queen bed. Large viewing balconies of Canal are off Floors 2 & 3 with ample seating. We enjoyed people watching several times out there. We loved getting to know Neil the manager & Mrs. Kim housekeeping supervisor.. very nice & accommodating to guests. The fresh flavored water daily by check in desk is great! Thank you for a GREAT stay!

The front door can be challenging when you’re drunk & getting ice from the bar at night when it’s packed but this is just nit picking what others might want to know. I loved it all and will be staying here again for sure!!!

This place is truly the perfect spot for those looking to explore some of the city’s best attractions as they’re all within walking distance (and trust me, you’ll want to walk so you don’t miss a thing on the streets). Accommodation was very comfortable and clean, and the amenities provided were on par with those big brand name chains. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and although food on site is not an option, you would be doing yourself a favour by trying out the local cafés and restaurants nearby anyway! Enjoyed the stroll back through Bourbon St and other side streets every night. A wonderful place to stay!

Decor may be outdated to some but I thought it lent character not just to the property but the spirit of NOLA! No complaints!

This hotel is a fantastic stay. Great location (a block and a half from canal and bourbon st) the balcony overlooks canal so you can see all the night life. Sometimes it can be a lil noisy but once you in your room it's fine. The staff is super friendly. Lauren was really nice and friendly. If I had to pick one downside it's that theres no pool. But this was a fantastic weekend getaway!!

Nothing me and my girlfriend (her first time going to new Orleans) absolutely loved it.
