this hotel was right around the corner from baronne street and amazing food places. everything was within walking distance. the hotel was spotless and staff was extremely clean. valet for my car was great, never drove my car during my stay due to being close to everything to walk.

the lobby and bar area was dull. there wasn’t events or activities down there for guest to interact with each other like karaoke night an such. there wasn’t a microwave in the room.

Booked for a pelicans game (19 mins walk, 7 mins drive). The area...although I drove to the Smoothie King center I could have easily walked (I felt safe). The rooms view looked out towards Canal st (hotel was on Barone st). Common area (pool table, bar, nice sitting area, very nice ambient music played on a big screen to a fractal video). Room was very clean (think studio apt or 3 bdrm apt livingroom as to size). Also the peephole had a cover (didn't have to use a small wad of tp). The hallway(s) was/ were very clean, very quiet floor (1212), no problem catching the elevator (was up and down several times within an hour and a half). Their baggage carts have safety brakes (cart won't move unless squeezed), an in house guide (like at the airports) to tell you about/ help you find attractions/ places to eat. Opposite street corners of the hotel (restaurants - steak etc. or Vietnamese food). Intersection of Canal st & Barone a seafood restaurant. Very clean location (streets not dirty or dingy). The hotel is part of the Marriot (Bonvoy) family.

NO usb hubs anywhere in the hotel (make sure you have a plug adapter handy). ONLY microwave is in the common area downstairs. Room refrigerator is ONLY big enough to hold bottles, NO ROOM for takeout containers.

Very motivated team at the reception. They listen to you and act on your request straight away. They are always smiling. The room was bigger than I thought. The room was huge. The bed was super kingsize and very confortable. The cleanliness was outstanding and the cleaners very respectful too. The safe was easy to use The icing on the cake is the location. Great location. We walk everywhere and few shops are around for shopping. Well done to the team.

Beautiful, great staff. Very friendly, polite and made us feel welcome and relaxed. Rooms were very nice. Love love the security of the building. Having to use room key to use elevator! Very family friendly. Perfect location to canal street and we walked to / from smoothly king center for Shania Twain concert ( it was fabulous too). We will definitely stay here when ever we visit New Orleans. 10 out of 10.

There were NO negatives. All positives.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good. I liked the free coffee. I liked needing a key card to go up the elevator and at night to get in, made me feel safe. It was such a special vacation, that I will continue to stay here. Pool table a bonus.

Little construction not a big deal. Bathroom door stuck so we couldn't have any privacy. And we had to squeeze in and out of the bathroom.

Parking is pricey, but I guess that’s due to the location. Reserving a spot in a nearby garage via an app saves some dollars. There was no water or coffee station in the lobby (there was in other Aloft Hotels I stayed at), but perhaps I didn’t look closely enough. Wasn’t a dealbraker though as water and a coffee maker were in the room.

Everything was very clean and very nice. The staff was friendly and polite and helpful. Our bartender, Isaac was super friendly. He told us some helpful information on some of the local restaurants. He also gave other great suggestions on souvenir gifts. We had the corner room over looking the city. Amazing view. Couldn't ask for more. (The city pictures are our view from our room window. The pictures really don't do the view justice.)

Can't think of a thing that we didn't like....

Maybe need to pull carpet in halls it smells bad. Needed to print off our tickets for our cruise printer wasn't working staff was no help at all. Said well it should be working finally came unplugged plugged back and said if this don't work I don't know. We ended up going down the street and having to pay

The staff were very friendly and the room was big and spacious. It was very clean and I liked the modern feel of the hotel. The location made it very easy to pick up stuff to eat and it was about 5 minutes from a CVS and Walgreens.

Our room sadly didn't have any hand soap when we arrived. We called down and they did end up bringing some within an hour.

great proximity to NOLA attractions - no more than 12 mins away from almost everything, nice bar and lounge area

some furniture items were dirty, small exercise facility, ice machine only on first floor - we stayed on the 14th floor, bed was a distance away from the AC so we still were warm at times
