The rooms are large and spacious and perfectly suited for New Orleans with blackout shades. Courtyard is not a full-service hotel, but it is staffed 24/7. All staff are friendly and accommodating. It's attached to the Ritz, which gives you Ritz amenities without the Ritz price tag. Keycards are needed to get into the room elevator, which is separate from the lobby elevator, which is likely an added security feature. The valet cost is spicy. The lobby only has a small store, but there are many Walgreens close. The location is perfect, because it's close to Bourbon, but doesn't have the loud chaos of being on Bourbon. This was our second stay, 10/10 would stay again.

My wife and I stayed on the top floor. We had what I would call a suite. Two queens, separated by a sliding door. The facility is one block from Bourbon Street and one block from Canal Street. It's on the edge of the French Quarter, but near the cable cars, near the Saenger Theater and near a ton of places to eat.
It's on Iberville Street, opposite of the Ritz-Carlton. There is a sign that locates the hotel, but it is small and unlit. They need to update the sign for drivers and Uber drivers. We used Uber and several times the drivers had difficulty finding the entrance.

An amazing place, located just at the edge of the French quarter, just at the edge of Canal street and Iberville, one block away from the heart of Borboun street. The staff is super friendly, very efficient and quick, they even made us coffee, Starbucks coffee, out of their goodness. Room service and cleaning was spotless, new fresh towels. Room is in excellent condition, everything is highly maintained. And for sure an excellent value for money. Definitely our first choice every time we come to NOLA.
The only thing that was an inconvenience is the opening hours of the coffee are and the bar as it was not around the clock and closes too early.

Great location at the edge of the action so great for sleep but close enough to be immersed when you're ready to frolic. Great bed. Lots of room. Quiet, couldn't hear next door at all. Tea/ coffee facilities with coffee maker. Great shower pressure with hot water. Starbucks on site is better than nothing, little shop next to reception is also handy. Friendly staff. Much much better than the Hilton Riverside which was where we stayed for first part of our visit to attend a conference.
No moisturising lotion. The block out blind makes a lot of noise raising and lowering it.

Rooms: the rooms were larger than the pictures indicated and very comfy. Also, the rooms were very clean and included all the amenities I would have needed. Service: I am very glad that they were able to accommodate our request to have our rooms closer together. We regularly utilized the front desk staff for recommendations on restaurants, things to do, etc. and their guidance was helpful and given in a professional, friendly manner. Location: I would say the location is right in between the french quater and the warehouse district. It was very convenient for our stay. Room service: we did end up utilizing room service whilst there. their food is acceptable, there was better food at some of the restaurants in the area; however, the convenience was something we couldn't pass up all of the time.
there was a lot of construction going on at the hotel, so I think the hotel bar was closed whilst we were there. I would like to have been able to check it out. Also, and this is not specific to the hotel, but most hotels in the area charge quite a bit for parking.

The hotel was beautiful, and our room was comfortable, the layout was perfect and we had an amazing view of the city. Additionally, the beds were extremely comfortable and spacious and the bathrooms felt luxurious. The fitness center was a fantastic surprise, with many options not typically available (medicine balls, weight machine resistance, several treadmills and mats for practicing yoga or doing floor work). The breakfast offered was Starbucks, and though they had limited options the food was consistently good. Our van was too large for the parking garage, and the hotel accommodated us by allowing street parking in front of the valet station.
We requested extra blankets from housekeeping, and our request was never met so my husband had to go find what we needed. Additionally, one of our rooms was difficult to adjust the temperature, and was a little cold at times. Otherwise our stay was very good.

The location was PERFECT! Loved being so close to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter - but also the closeness to Canal Street was a bonus I did not anticipate. I also loved our king suite - the couch and extra space was great for relaxing without having to get on the bed. Oh - and we took pictures in the room and the lighting was so great for that (see attached pic).
This is a little weird - but I would have preferred to have a shower cap, which we didn't have.

The staff was professional, quick, and responsive. The hotel is nice and clean with a lounge area next to the check-in. The hotel also has a Starbucks with limited hours and a pantry area where you can buy extra snacks/beverages. The hotel is very close to all of the attractions in the French Quarter. It was convenient to walk to restaurants and sites. We also had a rental car that we parked at the hotel, and that allowed us to see a lot more of NOLA - I recommend this approach. Their parking is valet only, so bring some tip money for each time you come and go! There is a fee for parking per night, but this is standard at most hotels, especially in cities. Despite the proximity to Bourbon Street, the hotel itself was really quiet. We did not hear any of the music or the mass of people outside at all. We stayed in a King room with (2) king beds, one of which was in its own "room" that closed off with a sliding door. The room wasn't a suite, but was nice to be able to close off the kid space from the adult space. I really appreciated the smart use of space in the room. The rooms come with a nice bar area that includes a narrow kitchen sink (good because it is a deeper sink than the bathroom sink), a mini fridge for your leftovers, and a coffee maker with instant coffee and tea bags. In the bathroom there is a hair dryer, a shower (not a bathtub) and large shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers. In our room, we had 2 tvs, and a small couch in the separate bedroom area. The space was cozy (a little dimly lit) and the beds and pillows were very comfortable.
I can only really nitpick here, I was quite happy with our stay. The bathroom was clean, but the shower could use a little extra scrubbing in the corners. It was cleaner than many hotels I have stayed in though, so this is a nitpicky comment. Considering that the hotel had a nice mini fridge in the room, it would have been nice to have a microwave as well so you could heat up leftovers. But they might have a microwave in the lobby area - I did not check.

The location was in the heart of everything we needed to get to but just far enough that it wasn't overly loud. Our flight was delayed so we checked in the morning after we were supposed to but the staff was very understanding and welcoming.
My room smelled really weird and the furniture in the room was dingy. If you can help it, I wouldn't recommend the first rooms off the elevator, I could hear everything and everyone

The big bonus point of this booking was two king sized beds ! in one room which is great for a family of four. Each section of the room seemed like a hotel room by itself with the large bathroom dividing the room. The Beds were fairly comfy however I would like bigger sheets. Pillows and linens were fine- very clean. Room service was fine and the food was ok for starving kids.- burgers and chicken strips. Shower was well supplied with higher end toiletries. Receptionist, bellmen etc were all very professional and quite helpful. The staff is excellent. Starbucks in the lobby was nice and the staff is super hard working and accommodating. Getting an uber or taxi was super easy thanks to the staff. They also did a nice job stowing our luggage upon check-out.
It's good and bad that the main lobby, check-in, starbucks etc is one floor up from street level. There's two elevators from the car pull in that take you up one floor to the main lobby. Everyone takes these elevators so it gets crowded. I would like the stairs option to be more visible. I didn't know where they were ? Maybe around the corner past the check in ?? The good about this is that it keeps lobby traffic to hotel guests. The doors are heavy and LOUD which means guests should be mindful of this and slowly hold the door as it shuts or it slams! There are only two elevators from the lobby servicing the upper floors so this got crowded real fast.
