It's hard to find affordable places to stay near Kennebunk. This place exceeded my expectations. Very nice hotel. Check-in was easy. I enjoyed the barbecue restaurant across the street, "Smoke" The food was fantastic.

I really do not have any constructive feedback. This hotel met my expectations and I cannot think of anything that could really have been improved upon. I didn't stay long enough to really use any of the extended amenities.

location was great to visit beaches both north and south of the property.

they should make sure the book is out with what they offer. For example the only way I knew they let guests borrow beach towels and chairs is because I read it on their website. I don’t think guest would know that because the book was hidden in the drawer. Also I knew this coming there based on recent reviews but the breakfast was very limited to other hotels that offer free breakfast.

The location was great for exploring this part of the coast and there was a great BBQ place right across the street for dinner. The room was really large and I appreciated the fridge and kitchen-area setup. Pool also looked lovely. Parking easy and close to rooms.

We really enjoyed the comfort and coziness. The staff was wonderful. We had everything we needed for our stay.

For such a beautiful and upscale place to stay, breakfast wasn't what you would expect! Being a diabetic, there wasn't anything that I could eat. Leftovers from the day before was there to choose from. You say free breakfast, but as wonderful and upscale as Port Inn is, you should upscale your breakfast and really consider the ones who have special diet needs.

Very cozy with excellent front desk staff. Nice heated pool and patio for outdoor breakfast.

We would have liked housekeeping to be more frequent during our stay. The carpets in the rooms had a very musty and unpleasant smell.

Great place. We were traveling with our dog and we forewarned them that we would have her with us. They gave her a gift bag with treats and a water bowl, it was so nice. They also placed us on the first floor right by the area to walk her. It was perfect. They were wonderful.

Staff was helpful and friendly. The property was clean and well maintained. Reception staff recommended restaurants close by for dinner in the neighboring town and sightseeing spots on our way to Portland.

The breakfast location was fine. But breakfast had limited options. The property does not have elevator. We had to carry our heavy suitcases through the stairs.

Location

Parking- the trees were overgrown to the walkway leading to the stairway entrance. Rained a lot and branches got heavy to the point where you literally had to bend down to your lees to carry your stuff through the entrance

Rooms were clean and very comfortable. we were in a front room by the road, so noise was a bit of a factor late at night and early in the morning.

The breakfast was disappointing. Would have appreciated something besides breads and oatmeal. The apples were very hard to eat. a variety of fresh fruit would have been better and maybe hard boiled eggs.

It was clean, bright, and spacious . Parking was good and near to our room. Fridge in our room was very helpful.

Breakfast was not of a sufficiently high standard. It was too self service without any sign of staff even to say good morning.
