EVEN Hotel Rockville - Washington, DC Area, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was super clean and in close proximity to may restaurants and stores. It is also in walking distance of the Metro access. The staff was very friendly and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. My only complaint is having to park in the parking garage. I will be returning to this hotel the next time I am in the area.

Parking was in a garage not connected to the hotel.

I had an issue with 1 housekeeper that worked 8/6 morning. First of all they knocked once and didn’t wait for a response and kept knocking. I was like oh my, if u knocked once……shouldn’t you wait for a response? Anyway, we didn’t need housekeeping, but I gave them my trash and I asked for a trash bag to replace it. I saw one of them reaching for it and the other told her not to give it to me. They were speaking in Spanish, but I understood a little. I was confused, because “I can’t have a trash bag to put my trash in?” I just closed the door and later on walked to 7 eleven bought things to get plastic bags to put my trash in. Also the WHOLE entire hotel didn’t have a microwave. Crazy if u ask me.

Literally EVERYTHING! Staff was amazing. And the outdoor seating was so nice and comfortable. The parking garage for the hotel was so close, I absolutely loved it. The location makes me want to move to the city.

I loved the property itself very clean, amazing staff, room was beautiful and shower was absolutely amazing.

Only issue I had was that the parking garage was not attached to the hotel.

Parking is a major hassle. And not very clear. Why are the dashboard notice papers given if you can only park in the fifth or sixth levels of a retail lot that you can only gain access to with a key card? Better parking options are needed. It takes forever to get to and from the car to the hotel. Also just my personal dispreference, I don't approve of sliding doors for a bathroom. They don't offer lots of privacy and aren't sound proof from the rest of the room. Also another note there aren't any curtains to completely block out lights from windows. The little see through pull down blind doesn't count.

Loved the in room workout gear and the beds were very comfortable

The property was clean, and offered unique amenities, e.g., yoga and basic exercise equipment in the rooms.

The beds were clean, but absolutely too soft. However, as I was first assigned a handicapped room, the hotel rep said the bed was soft to accommodate a handicapped person. Having been a caregiver for many years, such a soft bed would create an unstable support for a person with mobility issues. While I was moved the another room, the bed was firmer, but still not quite firm enough.

The beds were so comfortable. The room was small but very clean and streamlined. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that provided yoga equipment, exercise ball, and bands in the room. The location is great with restaurants and shops with in walking distance.

The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great and the water didn’t get very hot. You will have to pay for parking. Due to Covid the dining room is offering minimal food.

Location- close walk to the mall and close walk to the metro. Parking on the 5th floor of the structure was not pleasant and the gate's arm did not work. Our requests were responded to promptly - for more coffee, towels, etc

There was not enough closet space for our 5 days stay - no dresser at all. The floor in our room had burnt tile that needs replacement. Parking on the 5th-6th floor of the garage structure.

Pleasant and helpful front desk staff. Bright, modern, and comfortable; enjoyed the yoga mat and other exercise equipment in the room! It was clean. Plus, the parking is more affordable than some other nearby hotels. Convenient location. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. Easy to get an Uber or take the train.

The air conditioner is noisy. Every time it kicked on, it made a high pitched noise that made it difficult to sleep. I heard another guest say the same thing at checkout. Bring ear plugs or plan on turning off the air conditioner at night. (Noisy guests next door did not help us sleep during our stay either.) Also, when I tried to call due to confusion about parking, I got disconnected twice. Not sure what was happening with the phones.
