Don was very friendly as was his assistant, Jessica, with whom we got to chat briefly. Don gave us a good recommendation for a supper restaurant and shared his knowledge of the history of his place as well as the quaint place next door. The room was very comfortable, enchanting, and clean (and I should know, having been a professional cleaner). Breakfast was good, and we were given our choices of several foods. And ya gotta love a clawfoot bathtub!
Toast was more well-done than I prefer, but not badly. Honestly, that's all that I could find to minutely complain about.

I loved the antiquity of the place. The staff and other guests were pleasant to talk to.
Unfortunately, I was in a walking boot (which happened two weeks before my trip), and there was no downstairs room.

The food had lots of flavor cooked thoroughly for the customer I'm very happy With their menu of choice and their parfaits are excellent Very very healthy breakfast.

The breakfast was personalized and great. The house was filled with authentic furniture and decor. It was like a fantasy Victorian mansion.

I love cats… like sitting outside on porch ….breakfast was good.
My wife does not like indoor cats wanting in my room…when your 5.2 it’s hard getting into shower with a jet tub…. Potatoes at breakfast were tasteless
