The room were comfortable and nicer than expected.

We stayed in the ground floor (basement) and at first it didn't smell good in the hallway (It smelled like smoke or cleaner) but it didn't linger. Regardless, the staff and hotel were great!

Staff were great. We really liked the southwest decor...it isn't your standard hotel room box. Breakfast burritos were great as well as the usual choices. The English muffins were a nice change and the blueberry muffins were lovely and moist. The shuttle service to the Plaza was a nice surprise and the driver Leroy was very helpful and informative

Could have used a shaving/make up mirror. Walking into the room past the bathroom sink was a little strange. Carpet in the sink area seemed odd too, especially when we knocked over a water bottle onto the carpet by the sink

I expected a motel type of place given the prices but Coyote South goes the extra mile. Great breakfast with breakfast burritos (veggie and non-veggie). The mural in the lobby is amazing and there's a really lovely member of staff. I didn't make a note of her name but she has short blonde hair and tattoos. Part of the experience team. Because of the great reception she gave us, we returned and stayed for a few more nights later in the trip. They have made the most of what they have. The design is nice, beds are good, the details with breakfast, shuttle etc. There's a small gym (didn't use it) and laundry facilities (did use them), ice machine etc. One practical thing which was really good in a July heatwave - the rooms have blackout roller blinds which helps to keep the heat out and the AC use to a minimum. We don't like to use too much AC. It's so much better than another 'regular' hotel chain. Santa Fe is expensive and staying here is one way to keep the cost down.

There are a lot of hotels in this area down on Cerillos so with any of them, you're a drive from downtown. But that's what keeps the prices down. Coyote South offers a shuttle into town although we didn't take it. And you're close to the out of town shopping centers so that's handy. The second time we came the bathroom was not as clean as the first time. But not worse than I've seen in major hotel chains all over the country. Not all the staff was as welcoming and engaged, particularly the night staff. But I would still go back there in a heartbeat.

Literally the best burrito breakfast we have ever had. Ultra clean rooms, friendly and accommodating staff, just an overall excellent experience. Value was exceptional for this price range. Exceeded all expectations. There is a 'hidden' ten dollar fee, which is crummy out of principle, but breakfast included so you instantly forget about that. Still.

Please no additional fees upon check in. Be transparent! In a room with two beds, two separate night lights are needed. Two beds usually means one person may stay up later and need that individual night light. Our room had one night light in middle shared by two large beds. No biggie, just a suggestion.

We were pleasantly surprised with the southwest decor in the lobby and in our room. Even though the west end of the hotel is next to the main road, the location was quiet. BONUS: the free shuttle takes customers to The Plaza which is central to all the Santa Fe sites and we did not need to worry about finding parking! LOVED the airy breakfast area where warm home made breakfast burritos with special salsa was a real treat! Staff was very customer oriented / friendly! Plenty of parking on site!

Bathroom was smaller than expected.

i was greeted with a warm smile and welcome in. I arrived early and was given a room right away. Our stay here made up for the other 2 hotels we stayed at and they did not meet the expectations that the reviews gave it. The room was a just the right size and made it easy if you wanted the temperature changed in the room. The staff was amazing and the breakfast burritos are AWESOME. I will be staying here again should we be going through the area again. it was a blessing to have a room that was peaceful and comfortable.

I would have liked a little softer bed and a different style of pillow. Another thing I would have liked is Hazelnut coffee creamer in the waiting area and for breakfast but that is truly because I feel at peace with a good strong cup of coffee and hazelnut creamer. It brings back great memories.

This was the second time we stayed at Coyote South. We love it there. The rooms are comfy, clean and artistically decorated. The lobby is welcoming, the people are friendly and the artistic touches are very well done. The breakfast is quite possibly my favorite hotel breakfast ever. The breakfast burritos are fabulous. The greek yogurt with add-ins is yummy. The coffee is great, and breakfast on a balcony is the best! The location of the hotel is very convenient in a walkable area. Santa Fe galleries and attractions are a short drive away.

the breakfast burritos had two versions, one with veggies, it was tasty and filling! the place was very clean, even with dogs staying with guests. small exercise room I used with free weight set.

it is easy to hear everyone in the hallway talking during the day or night, but that is normal for hotels. shower, not tub.

Did a spontaneous trip though New Mexico and this was one of our stops for the night. The staff was extremely friendly! They offered a wonderful breakfast which was nice because it was one little expense off the trip. The room was very clean and the bed was probably the most comfortable of all the hotels. The lobby and hallways were clean and very well decorated. I would recommend staying here for a night if you happen to be passing through! (Keep in mind there is a $100 incident fee that gets refunded a few days after check out.)
