Asked for a King-Suite in as quiet a spot as possible and received it. Large enough room for a comfortable 6 night stay. Nice view and pleasant to be across from McCarren Park. Efficient and adjustable heat. Lots of hot water for shower. Good bed. Good elevators. Friendly, helpful and unobtrusive staff. Safe and convenient neighborhood. Reasonable price.

Room was a bit disorganized as regards efficient use of space. Clothing bar in closet should have been run parallel to the door. Drawers below this didn't fully open. Couch and chair in sitting room were a bit low and size could have been better. Could have used a shelf in the bathroom. The free NYC coffee was too acidic for our taste and would have preferred west-coast Peets Major Dickenson. These are all minor complaints and we adapted.

The room was a good size in relation to hotels we've said in over in Manhattan, The hotel had a pool which was a real treat in the city. The staff were fantastic be sure to ask for a car service instead of hailing a cab we found that to be better value for money. The Coda is in a great neighbourhood with an amazing deli and great restaurants near by.

There wasn't anything we didn't like, this really is a great hotel with great staff and I would recommend the Coda to anyone looking for a base outside of Manhattan.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Our room was cute, clean, and quiet - that’s all i ask. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Nice to know we could bring our dogs next time :)

The closet was TINY. If i were staying here longer than a couple days that would have been a challenge. Also no fridge - that was a surprise bc it’s so common at most hotels. Lastly, the room was super hot our first day there, but when we talked to the front desk they sent a maintenance person who said AC had been disabled for the winter, which makes sense, but he turned it back on for us because the room was so hot and turning down the thermostat was not turning off the heat.

CODA is the perfect location in the perfect neighborhood. Williamsburg has everything you need for a New York vacation without the crazy of Manhattan. If you want Manhattan crazy, you can dip in for the day by a 5 minute subway ride on the L train or a beautiful 15 minute ferry ride to 34th street. CODA is great value-for-money. Has an amazing roof-top bar AND an outdoor pool with beautiful, oversized sunbeds to chill out on, order a drink, etc. The bedroom was perfect with a lovely, power-shower and some really nice scented toiletries. Highly recommend.

Didn't have much to complain about! It used to be the McCarren Hotel so it's run by new management. They are super keen to make sure everything goes well for your stay. If I asked for anything they were immediately on it and more. Really nice staff. Felt at home pretty quickly.

The location was perfect for our needs & the reception staff very approachable, receptive to any questions

We had an issue on the Saturday night with the noise from a nightclub, which I believe is in the basement of the hotel, maybe because our room was on the 1st floor, so it might not have affected guests on other floors. The hotel explained that the management of the club was different to that of the hotel, but were apologetic & seemed to take some responsibility for understanding this wasn't ideal for hotel guests. Hopefully in future they will make guests aware of the potential for noise & deal with the situation pro-actively.

Beautiful! Love the location and vibe

Checking In Was tricky. We called about early check In (before 4pm) was told to call back the morning of our reservation. We did and was then told to come to the hotel as soon as possible to confirm early check-in. We scrambled to make it across brooklyn only to be told they will call when a room is available. This was agitating since we rushed through brunch to drive to the hotel only to be told to wait. We did not get into the room before 4pm which ment the 5pm birthday party was also a scramble to prepare and set up .

Loved the hotel, location, and pool facilities. The room was clean and modern. The hotel staff were incredibly sweet and really made the experience great.

There was no fridge or coffee set up in the room which was quite annoying. The room cleaning services also weren't great because they never took all the trash out. Room service also ended super early every night so you'll need to order ubereats.

Hotel was great, the location for what I wanted was perfect. The Pool is a nice aded touch. The products on offer in the room (shampoos) etc were very good.

I guess there are certain things you come accustomed to in hotels. There was no fridge in the room, no ironing board. There was also a massive rave that started at 6:30am in one of the rooms on my floor that sounded like there was about 50 people in there. Lucky i'm an early riser.

We were there for only one night, not enough time to truly rate a place. I can say that the hotel is nice, it has a good location,in walking distance to several subway stations. When you arrive the aroma in the lobby is very pleasant. We arrived early in the morning and were surprised that we were given a room immediately. Our room was plain with comfortable beds. I

We did not get towels, it took asking three times to get them. For the price I expected better

Great location near many fun shops and restaurants. Bonus for having a large park across the street you can visit. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. While we didn't use the pool, the pool area did appear to be maintained and well organized. The fitness gym was great and includes Peloton equipment!

If I had to choose one negative here it would be the hotel does have a rooftop bar that hosts parties. During these nights you may have to wait on an elevator due to the number of people heading up or down from the rooftop. This was not a big deal for us but it may be for others.
