Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham - Geneva

Overall the cleanliness and the staff were superb. I asked the front desk for a local option for food and they were super helpful in making sure that we got what we wanted. The room was clean, fresh and the lighting was great.

The only thing that I wasn't exactly happy about is the breakfast. They have a make your own pancake machine and a few cereals and breads and things but it would have been nice if they could have offered a little more variety.

The hotel was perfectly situated for everything we wanted to do in the area (breweries and wineries)! Staff were friendly and attentive. Overall it was a great time. I would definitely stay again at this facility!

I would have liked the floor in the room to be a little cleaner. I think the carpet needed some attention, but other than that everything was great!!

- Our room was pretty small, even for European standards - weekend room rate way too high... - Since the room was located just opposite to the elevators, we heard all the other guests who got out on our floor (some of them were very noisy at night, having nonsensical discussions on the corridor).

The room was an average size with comfortable beds. White sheets and covers, clean. Ample breakfast choices all prepackaged due to covid. Breakfast area kept very clean. The front desk was very helpful.

We were there for 4 nights and the room was only cleaned once. I understand with the Covid they only clean every other day but I think at least bathrooms should be replenished each day. The front desk was very helpful in getting us clean towels each night. The issue is the room prices didn't go down but you receive far less housekeeping service. Also, microwaves in the room would be nice.

Staff was so friendly. Location was good. Breakfast was great. The coffee was outrageously hot- little cup sleeves would help but this is being picky.

There was a shirt left in the wardrobe from the previous guest. That makes me question the cleanliness. The shampoo was terrible.

Comfortable and modern rooms. Quiet, set back from main road. Location fine - not in the centre, but most restaurants and bars are not in the centre anyway. Decent ‘Kindred Fare’ restaurant next door, but recommend booking

We could have our dog with us. There was a decent area to walk the dog.

Our room was closet-sized , no coffee maker or microwave. Walls were thin, heard lots of noise, especially outside our room at 4:30 am. Front desk folks were totally inept, erroneously charged my credit card multiple times, then argued with me at check out when I requested a paper receipt. Breakfast was pathetic.

The staff were amazing and provided great recommendations for food and information in the local area as well as being very attentive. Also there is 24/7 hot chocolate (and other beverages) which was a lovely touch. Room was clean and cleaning services were offered on a daily basis if required.

Not much - location could be slightly better but ideal for exploring finger lakes by car

The facility was clean, comfortable, and close to various stores, gas stations, and eateries. The staff were welcome, friendly, and helpful! Plus, even though the breakfast was to-go items, it was the first place that we had stayed in our trip that offered gluten-free muffins. We enjoyed them! Several in our group also enjoyed the pre-wrapped breakfast croissants with either egg and cheese or sausage and cheese too.

We arrived at our destination around 9:30 pm, and most restaurants were already closed or closing. Many of them still had their lights on, even though their automated speaker said they were closed. I am sure ongoing COVID restrictions had modified their hours from what was listed online. So, if traveling to this area, you may want to keep this in mind.

The fact that the hotel was clean!! It smelled amazing from the second we walked in and that was a great sign. The rooms and common area were also clean. Definitely a plus!

My only complaint was that we booked well in advance because we had another couple with us and our rooms were not together. We brought our dog and had to walk out into the hall to go next door prompting the staff to then deactivate our room keys because they thought we were leaving our dog alone.
