The staff was the hardest working I have ever seen. We went to the hotel restaurant where the bartender was also the wait staff. This woman was amazing. The restaurant and bar was crowded and she was able to serve everyone without any complaints. I have been too many upscale restaurants that has 10 times the staff and been kept waiting to be served over 20 minutes. My husband thought the old fashioned drink was the best he has ever had and we both liked the food. Everyone at the restaurant could not believe how good she was.

The area it was in was a little tired

The Gould is a unique hotel. Nice to have a bar & restaurant on the property. We stayed in a king suite and it was very spacious & comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants. There is a coffee shop & brewery across the street.

The breakfast, while convenient, needs more options. The bar & restaurant closing times were not consistent. Our first night, stayed open a little longer bc there were customers but the 2nd night, after a day of wine tasting & local restaurants kitchens closed early, we thought we could have dinner at the hotel but nope. It closed up earlier that night than the previous evening. Luckily, the pizza shop a block west of the hotel still had its kitchen open & we could order take out.

The manager, Anthony, is very professional and extremely welcoming upon arrival!! The hotel itself was very clean and our room was immaculate!! We had dinner at the bar the first night which was very tasty and nicely presented. Heidi was an excellent bar tender, server and host!! She was very busy, but got it all done with a smile on her face and a bubbly personality!!

The continental breakfast was okay. The only dissatisfaction for me would be, is that there was nothing hot on the buffet other than coffee and a toasted bagel.

I have stayed here several times since the pandemic and have seen the progress "back". (My daughter is a local college student) Restaurant/bar with a wonderful menu now available; 2y ago, of course nothing and not their fault. Regardless, our stays back then were still wonderful. This trip, our server in the bar was great and made a mean dirty Martini--so TY. It had been a long day driving, then towing my daughter's vehicle. I choose to not stay in chain hotels. I love the service and care that I receive at the Gould. I will always go back!

The sidewalk was not shoveled after a snow storm. (by 10am) Parking lot was done, but I had to drag my luggage through the snow to get to my vehicle. The city I guess doesn't plow the city parking spots either?? BIG RED FLAG SENECA FALLS: We come here and spend $; please plow the parking spots. I heard the plows MANY times on the street at 0600...TY! Plus: I want a frig in my room please!!! I like cold water and a place to put my leftovers from your awesome restaurant downstairs!

I had a big room clean, loved it not having carpeting in the rooms felt cleaner.

The bed was high. So you had to take a running start to get on it.  It’s all it was left on the back of my door. Had to figure out to get the water hot. He had to go all the way to hot and then back it off.  Breakfast was lacking. The bagels were OK but better than toasted. Would’ve nice to have had an egg or something to put on it. That was a protein, other than yogurt or peanut butter.

The lounge had a wonderful employee who was not only tending to the bar he was also tending to the tables for dinner. He was polite and knowledgeable. The General Manager, Anthony had a very pleasant manner and was certainly welcoming.

There really wasn't anything. The only thing I would like to see is some way in the suites to have some towels in the shower area. They're plenty in the sink area and they were nice and clean. Many places don't have a freezer with the refrigerator, that was a pleasant surprise.

Walking distance to many sites and food options. The hotel and staff were very nice.

Pillows were too soft, not a comfortable sleep. It would help if there were choices of pillow firmness like other places I have stayed with 2 soft and 2 firm. Lost water pressure while showering, all soaped up and had to wait for water to come back, not too long. Would have liked the option of toast instead of bagels at breakfast.

The young man who checked us in was the perfect welcome for the facility! We were pleasantly surprised by the decor and comfort of the room/beds. Parking on site was helpful. We were surprised that a continental breakfast was also offered. The woman working in the dining area was very pleasant, too.

The only thing we did not like was the limited selections at breakfast. We would have preferred something more than mostly carbs, but we still appreciated the offerings. The coffee was not very good either.

Lovely old hotel in a historic town. The room was updated,comfortable bed. There was live music in the bar on Saturday. The food was great at the restaurant. All staff were very friendly. Brittany from the front desk helped us get the tv working. John the bartender was very friendly and attentive. We had a great time. The cost of the room was very inexpensive-additional online discount and the off season rate helped I am sure.

Breakfast was included but was continental. We just had coffee which wasn’t very good or hot

Comfortable, updated stylish hotel in the centre of Seneca Falls. Beautifully decorated. Bed very comfortable. Adjacent to the Women's Rights historical site which is well worth visiting.

The room was nice but did not have a comfortable chair. Also we asked about check in an hour early and the staff person was ungracious about the request. Made us feel that asking was improper. Most properties will allow an early check in if the room is ready.
