Americas Best Value Inn Plattsburgh

The room seemed to have been cleaned well. Air conditioner worked good, alot of little "extras" for the price we paid such as a hair dryer, ironing board, iron, mini frig, microwave, single cup coffee maker. The pool looked really nice but we didn't use it, only stayed one night.

The outside entrances and stairways were kind of dirty going up to our room, needed some new carpeting and a little maintenance. When we walked in the room had a funny odor, but it seemed to have disappeared when we returned later that evening. Also, this is small but there weren't any washcloths in our bathroom. We probably could have called and asked but we only stayed one night.

The pool was nice, outside and smaller but very enjoyable and clean. The beds were very comfortable, extras like pillows and towels are available upon request at the office building. Breakfast was lovely, they have fruit and a waffle maker along with bagels and cereal. You can drive right up to your door and park your car. Free parking, love that. Daily housekeeping is also a lovely addition.

It was fairly loud at night. The bathroom was very small, good thing i don't spend a lot of time in there.

*hotel is accessible to everything *free breakfast, satisfied with their variety of food.You can actually sit down and enjoy your breakfast not like the other hotel where they just put it in a brown paper bag. * the receptionist Jonathan was very nice and professional * all the amenities are inside ( fridge,microwave etc)

* rooms needs an update/renovation * room has a weird smell (maybe because of the carpet) * room wasnt clean the 2nd night we stayed

Yummy waffles for breakfast. What a nice selection of breakfast choices too. It was also very nice to hear French being spoken in the breakfast area - - I have moved to another area where there is a lot of Spanish, so it was good to hear the language again. My room was neat and tidy, and i tried to leave it that way. I really wanted to go swimming, but I ran out of time. Looks like a really nice pool. Thanks!

Staff very pleasant at check in and at breakfast - Liked that fruit was available, and breakfast bars in addition to the cereal

Toilet in our room was way too low - hard to get up and down, but glad to have a handle bar to grab. Just way too low just a picky little thing: Fireplace on in the lobby would have been nice Not a big deal, just would have been nice.

Jonathan at the front desk was exceptionally helpful! The location was great for us. A far more affordable accommodation than any we could find in Vermont. The restaurant next door was excellent! Didn't use the pool but it looked nice and had a good policy for use.

Still pricey for a motel.

Good value for the price. Well worth the price if you just need a place to sleep . Great location, close to the highway. Clean room with lots a space.

The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was great and I liked that there was a door to close off the toilet from the rest of the bathroom. The pool was nice too!

The pillows could be bigger and less soft

The room is very large and extremely clean. The air conditioner is quiet. The staff is very kind and helpful.

There are always things that could be improved, but overall this is a very well maintained motel.

Seems a bit outdated but it was well kept

The outside area is carpeted all around which gives off a funky odor. Also saw empty liquor bottles in the hallway areas near the ice machines
