Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Raleigh Cary

Overall, our stay was pleasant. The rooms were relatively clean despite the hotel losing 2 of their housekeeping staff, and ended up having to wait for them to be cleaned. Also, the walk-in showers requested we’re not available but Paige & the manager did a great job offering to provide a discount on the room rates leaving us quite impressed with their efforts. I’ll definitely stay there again mainly because of the way issues were handled & of course the great breakfast!

Not initially getting the walk in showers previously requested. Toilets in one of the rooms still had toilet paper in the bowl, leaving us to wonder if it was cleaned at all. Probably not, since housekeeping was understaffed.

Friendly staff upon check-in/out. Great breakfast with a variety of warm and grab-n-go options. Tea/Coffee stand was accessible 24/7. CLEAN rooms, beds, and bathrooms. Functional kitchenette and great iron/board. Highest floor room (5th) request was granted upon online request.

A few ‘minute’ things: Walls seemed thin and neighbors could be heard speaking at times if hvac system is not running. Dining hall (floor/table/chairs) could be cleaned more consistently between guests. Parking lot can be tricky (particularly when arriving at night) since lot connects to two other hotels.

Nice, clean, new hotel. Good breakfast options. Large room. Restaurants on the other side of the parking lot. Built in night light in the bathroom - a rarity. Fair price for a higher end place. We would return if a hotel needed in the Raleigh area.

These are minor nits which I would not even mention in a lower end hotel. Entrance to the hotel complex is difficult to find at night. They sell beer at the hotel desk, including a brand that requires an opener. There was no opener in the room. Fortunately the bottle top fits in the slot in the bathroom door frame. But a silly oversight by the management. Free dumbbells but no Universal Gym in the fitness center. All minor issues and for the price still a good value.

The location was convenient, the parking was ample and easy! The community areas (lobby, pool, gym, and breakfast areas) were all very clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good. Elevators were clean and fast. Our room was spacious, well-appointed, and well-stocked. Check-in and check-out were very easy with very friendly staff.

The quiche was delicious. The bed was super comfortable. Overall, the room was quiet. I only heard doors shutting from the hallway here & there. I also appreciate the later check out time. Honestly, I was really impressed with your safety/Covid precautions. You are doing more than most and as someone who has family with health vulnerabilities, I appreciate that!

The location was great & it was clean. They had a decent breakfast & nice people staffing it.

We were there for 2 nights but the room was not refreshed- bed not remade (not a big deal), trash not emptied, no replacements of cups, etc. That was unexpected for a Fairfield hotel. I inquired about it but the desk person did not seem to want to assist.

Breakfast was a good industry standard. But having chopped fresh fruit was a great plus.

Maybe think about Putting a touchless hand sanitizer stand near the food room entrance w/a sign saying " please use before entering". I think more people than not, would use it. Because your "please use the plastic gloves" concept is basically useless!

Check in was easy and they accommodated us checking in a little early. Staff was very friendly.

The room rate was high for the quality of the hotel. I know it was graduation weekend which likely drove up the prices, but I don’t think the room was worth what we paid for 2 nights.

Our stay was quite and location was perfect. This will be our marked favorite for this area. One of the cleanest hotels we've visited.

My only complaint was our shower curtain wasn't as clean as the rest of the room and bathroom. Thankfully we're a family that travels with disinfectant and cleaning supplies.

Everyone was so kind and positive when we arrived. Check in was a very pleasant experience The room was clean The bed was very comfortable We stayed three nights and house keeping brought us fresh towels each day. The breakfast was awesome and the ladies were so kind and helpful Very happy 😊😊
