I liked the hunters Lodge look and feel of the rooms The bed, and bathroom could have been a bit bigger, I am a big guy 6'1 lol, but all in all the stay was a pleasant one, The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would def stay here again, very conveniently located specially if you are here doing the motorcycle tours. Dragon, Moonshiner, and the Cherahola skyway are all a short distance away.

The only bad thing is not really with the hotel, but with the town itself, everything closes way early so make sure to bring food or have dinner in time because by 10 everything seemed to be close, idk if it's different on the weekend, I was here on a Wednesday.

Nothing fancy, but clean and functional. It has a TV, microwave , and fridge, convenient electrical outlets, air conditioning. The cat in the front office was very friendly!

No decent eating establishments around here

Rodger was absolutely divine of a host! He made great conversation with us and made us feel right at home during our stay. We stayed and talked with him between our excursions around the area and even had him give us recommendations here and there. After our second night my forgetful boyfriend forgot my pillow and blanket and being the absolute saint he is, Rodger put them in storage for us to retrieve on our stay come November.

The room was a tad musty.

Room was big. Full kitchen. Covered carport. Looked just like pics on website. Restaurants near by. Shower was nice with bath gel, shampoo and conditioner available.

Toilet made noise when sitting down. Not enough counter space around bathroom sink. Wall mounted hair dryer not work but found one under sink. Lots of street noise from cars. Bed was too hard for me but my husband slept well. TV was small for room size.Blinds on windows were outdated and couldn't be opened since rod was broken. Curtain was hanging over wall heater so it had to be tucked under blinds.

The room was decorated with a French theme, Paris bedspreads, Monet prints. Very welcoming hosts. Whimsical dragons about the property. A quiet street. About 14 miles to the Tail of the Dragon on 219. They are motorcycle friendly. Would stay here again.

The shower head was so low on the wall the I had to crouch to wash my hair, I'm 5'6". My 6'2" husband didn't even try.

A beautiful place with a lot of nice places to sit outside and even light a little fire, friendly, kind and very helpful host, comfortable bed (especially the pillows, not too thick for me as is the case in many places - slept like a baby!!). I was told I had the smallest room, but for a single traveler it was fitting perfectly.

The dragon motif was just wonderful. Roger was the only reason I would now come back. My first room was not wonderful, but he took care of it quickly and without any bad feelings. He was very kind and helpful when I called requesting a late check in - very nice and hospitable.

A little pricey for a motel off season

It is a motorcycling area close to the tail of the dragon. Hotel has been around for as long as I can remember. Don't expect a 5 star resort. Yet the owners are friendly and keep the area clean. It is walking distance to most places in town.

The hotel is a bit out dated, but you can't beat the price and overall a good value.

Guy at the front counter was awesome. Very helpful and informative with a great attitude. In the middle of the night there was loud drama as would to be expected in this particular town in the middle of the night.

Loud lady freaking out. She wasn't a patron but she was screaming at one.

The location was great. We were there to ride some motorcycle roads before going up to Kentucky from Georgia. Was a good stop for the money.

The electrical state of the place was kinda crazy. Not safe for kids.
