I'm not going to lie, after booking the room we got to reading the reviews. Needless to say we were worried. But after getting there and seeing the place for ourselves we quickly realized some people have just blown things out the water about this place. Our room was nice enough for us. No it's no Hilton. But for the price you can't beat it. The staff was friendly. The location was not bad. Truthfully if you are just passing thru and need a place to stay then this is not a bad place at all. Even for a weekend stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was not the best place in the world. But NOWHERE NEAR THE WORST place that I have seen. I would stay here again. And would also recommend this place for people that are passing by and or just wanting a cheap weekend getaway to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were in town for a wedding, and this place served our needs for a place to stay while in town. And we are very pleased with our stay.

Just a few things I didn't like, but not a big deal in my opinion. I just want to help on maybe some improvements that can be made. In our room to get the door open you had to put a shoulder in it. Again not a big deal to me, just maybe a older couple would have a problem with it. And secondly is the TV. The picture on it was not the best and kinda hurt my eyes. But again I wasn't there to watch TV, but it was nice to watch some football at night until I was ready to go to bed. But then again I wasn't there to watch TV.

We did not use the breakfast. Everything else met our expectations.

Temperature setting on air conditioner should have been set at an energy-conserving comfortable setting of around 78º. Instead, our room was set at a frigid 61º. This is a totally unnecessary waste.

The locations was great, the rooms are open to the outside. The room was very clean. I would stay here again.

The hotel is very run down. The door lock was broken. The toilet paper holder was broken. And the cable was off so there were only 2 Channels.

You guys have the sweetest staff. I really appreciate you all. It's been wonderful.

There were some ashes by the nightstand from previous users. It smelled a little smokey inside. There was a delay in getting my room the 1st night due to a large volume of people being there the night b4.

The room was great and the staff are always super nice!

There was a younger family close by and the little girl was outside of our door yelling and screaming. Someone was smoking pot close by bc we could smell it in our room. When I opened the door to see what was going on, the little girl would run off towards her room and the pot smell would come in with us.

Rooms are clean functional.

Parking is limited amd spaces are to tight. Orange juice in the machine routulinely doesn't work. If I call the room price is $89 plus tax but 63 plus tax thru Booking.com.

best hotel in a small town

the staff are not helpful. i was double charged for the room. i paid on booking.com with my debt card. but for some reason it was slow to process. so I provided my credit card to secure the room. the debit payment went through and the credit card is pending. when I asked about refund I was told to contact booking.com. the credit card was accepted by the local staff so it is there responsibility to correct the issues.

I always enjoy my stay at this place. The staff is great. Location suits me. And the value is the best around

The soap dispensers in the shower, very difficult. The only complaint I believe I've ever had here

The rooms were nice, clean, and big with al upgrades. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great as well with at least 3 restaurants and a convenience store in an adjoining parking lot and a large grocery store across the street.

The staff is great. The location is great and the value is good

The breakfast is a little weak, not much variety but I can live with that. And like many motels, the lighting in the room is not very great.
