Hampton Inn Winston-Salem Hanes Mall

The people working there are so phenomenal we feel like we're at home with friends!! Lisa at the front desk is incredible! Alicia (?) also there and another woman are all exceptional. Pat in the breakfast area is so friendly and accommodating always to us! She has food still there a little after the closing time which is great. And Iris in the kitchen is great too! The pool this summer was fantastic! Always so clean!

was very pleased with the property. just a bit more expensive than other hotels but is worth all the positive features I guess. we stayed at a hotel in town that had a cloudy pool which we didn’t even want to get in and not as friendly staff. so we came back to Hampton where we’ve stayed before!

Just go. Everything was clean, the staff was super friendly and professional, the beds were sooooo comfortable, the price was right and a great hot breakfast every morning with a number of variety to choose from.

The pool was smaller than I expected but it was not crowded so that was not a deal breaker.

everyone was super friendly. They were all so nice to me and my wife and my two boys. treated us like family.

unfortunately there was a glitch in the system that charged us the whole amount for the room again. But, the staff apologized and worked to get it returned. we had it back by the next afternoon but it threw a wrench in a couple of plans because we were on a budget.

The pool was outdoor and smaller, but it was very nice and fun for the kids. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. Our room was perfect. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We had a king room with a fold out bed (couch) for the kiddos. We slept so good! Breakfast was delicious. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, tasty juice, etc! There was only one woman working the breakfast area, but she did her job so well. I know it’s hard to find workers right now, so we knew it wasn’t the hotels fault for only having one employee handling breakfast. She made sure everything stayed stocked up so the guests had a great breakfast. She is a hard worker and I appreciate her! I couldn’t ask for anything more with this stay. Like I said before, if every Hampton Inn is like this, I’ll never go anywhere else.

Everything about this hotel was excellent! From making reservations to check in and throughout our stay, you gave Marriott a run for their money! Pat, on the kitchen staff was a pleasure, and the entire front desk staff was excellent!

location, quiet, plenty of parking, near restaurants and amenities, non-smoking floor

beginning to like staying at hotels with hardwood(non-carpeted) flooring and leather upholstered seating, less likely to retain mould/mildew/biologicals. I understand this adds to noise but is something I am willing to compromise on

It was good. Fresh and the cooking staff was personable. There were two different women setting the food up on different days and they were attentive to us and asked if anything we needed that’s what they were there for. Patricia and Iris were their names. My daughter and granddaughter moved to North Carolina and if I need lodging I have a secure place to go.

That the week would never end. The area is different from South Jersey and it takes more than a week to appreciate the moment.

Room clean. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom clean and shower was awesome. Location good. Breakfast pretty good. Staff was OUTSTANDING!!!

Sitting on toilet...toilet paper dispenser a bit of a reach...but if THAT is the ONLY complaint...pretty good otherwise

This was a very comfortable place to stay with my family. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The breakfast exceeded our expectations! It was a truly full, hot breakfast! The bed was very comfortable and clean! We definitely be staying here again!
