The breakfast was very very good, ate at Founders at the Shaffner. It was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed it so much. The accommodations at the Summit Inn were wonderful. We enjoyed our Camel room so much. It was very spacious and beautiful. The shower was wonderful and very large. Loved sitting on the big front porch!

I would have loved access to ice. I had an ice bucket but no mention of ice. That would have been nice. And maybe a small fridge in the room.

property is gorgeous. Neil greeted us and was able to make our every wish come true. evening wine and cheese was professionally done and personal. Breakfast, although good could use some healthy choices (egg whites, turkey sausage or oatmeal). Our only 2 concerns were the bed was not so comfy and the noise from traffic could interrupt your sleep so bring earplugs. Good value and great service.

I was told I could check-in early, however, I arrived and they at the time could not bc the room wasn't ready. They tried to contact me but the third party app had my number wrong. They made accomodations for me and it was amazing. They were kind and thoughtful.

One thing is the closeness of the rooms, but that's a typical B and B. Its easy to hear your neighbor. I heard her blowdrying her hair for about 20 mins.

Hosts and staff were great , room was huge and comfortable. The history and uniqueness of the house made it a great experience. Wasn’t overcrowded, I felt like I was a very welcome guest in someone’s home.

The location caught me off guard, I was expecting a country retreat and it was located in the city center, which actually turned out to be a blessing, with access to great sites and restaurants. Parking took a minute to get use to but once mastered it was convenient. No fridge in room, but for our short stay it didn’t matter much. This is a business that was severely effected by recent hardships we as a country have all suffered, please check out this hidden gem before they are all gone.

Shirley, the chef, prepared an excellent breakfast. Neil & Austin went up and above as hosts. Loved the wine & cheese and conversation in the evening. Neil was kind enough to make dinner reservations & golf tee time for us. Highly recommend the Shaffner Inn.

Might have overlooked it while booking however not every room has an en suite bathroom. Neil was kind enough to accommodate us with a room that met our needs.

The breakfast was delicious and I really enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits. My wife enjoyed a breakfast mimosa. Overall, the food was fantastic.

Would have liked a wine tasting event instead of the bottle sent to our room.

Staff was excellent, room and bed were comfortable.

Bathroom was not in the room. Although it was our private bathroom, we had to walk out in the common hallway to get to it. It wasn't explained very well on the webpage. I would have booked another room had I known.

Loved the beauty of the building, inside and out. The Piedmont suite was divine. The jacuzzi was perfection. The shrimp and grits..the BEST. Gary, our waiter, everything and more!!

I loved the history and location of the house. The flowers were beautiful and taken care of extremely well. We had a good time during the wine and cheese hour and the breakfast was prepared well. Overall a really nice experience.

Nothing really.

The only problem with my stay was that it was too short! I was in town to see my daughter and, because of planned activities, did not get to enjoy breakfast or “happy hour.” These are things I cannot wait to enjoy on my next stay!
