It was clean and convenient to downtown. Fred at the front desk was super helpful and nice. Our room wasn't ready at the normal check-in time so we ran to a grocery store to kill some time. When we came back Fred gave us a complimentary breakfast coupon for our trouble. BTW, it was delicious.

Didn't like that we had to listen to barking dogs in two rooms on our floor. When we went to the front desk they said there shouldn't be dogs on our floor, and that they are only allowed on the second floor. The clerk said unfortunately those people had checked out that morning. I hoped you followed up and billed them appropriately, as they must have lied and snuck the dogs in. I don't appreciate having to put up with people bringing their animals absolutely everywhere. Also a lot of noise in the hall and banging on doors. When my husband stepped in the hall and said something, the guy told him, I'm not knocking on your door, you would know it. Just plain rude people.

Although it was an older property, there were definitely some updates, very clean and well taken care of. We felt safe and I didn’t have to spend an hour cleaning the room before we settled in! There were even vacuum lines on the plush chair in the room. This was a thoroughly clean room. Bathroom was exceptionally clean. bed was comfortable. In the past couple of month’s leading to my son’s wedding, I booked a different hotel and it was horrible (fake reviews). So happy with this booking 😊 It’s in downtown so there are stores, restaurants and shopping close by! We are planning a leisure weekend soon and will definitely book here again! Fred, the front desk gentleman was so kind. All staff were accommodating and pleasant. What a nice change from the “new normal “ negative personalities we’ve encountered lately!

On the site is says “breakfast included”, this turned out to be continental only. There is a sign that says”you can purchase a hot breakfast coupon for $10 at the front desk”. This was disappointing. We ended up finding a restaurant for our breakfast. When looking for amenities before booking, I wanted a restaurant inside the hotel and an available pool. This had both. Hawthorne bar and grill, Unfortunately was only open for the continental breakfast and the pool was not open for use. our stay was on 4/21. I would’ve thought it would be in season then. Hopefully it will be open for our next stay😊 Other than this, our stay was VERY quiet and relaxing.

Overall it was am awesome stay. However they did offer continental breakfast. The menu selection was very minimal. If you want hot breakfast they required a 10 fee per meal. Another thing I didn't quite like was, they don't give c e you acess to coffee throughout the day. I was late for breakfast one morning. She offered to get the coffee for me. I thought that was wrong. She came back with straws in my cup. It was unsanitary to me. I would of love to made my own coffee She could of stood there. It did matter to me. Lastly I noticed a few staff members in the kitchen area was sick. So that was a turn off for me. They were really nice the rooms were clean. Location was super great. The receptionist that check me in early that morning was super accommodating and awesome she was helpful. So thanks so much.

Nice and clean. Comfortable beds. We did not use the pool but it look like a nice place to relax, unfortunately we showed up at midnight and left by seven.

The breakfast that was included was a choice of two different muffins or bagel. Apples and oranges and coffee and juice. No where near what the normal continental breakfast includes. You could pay 10 dollars and get a hot breakfast, not sure what that included. I’m a big fan of the waffle maker that some hotels have. This hotel did not have that.

The cost was appropriate. the staff was very nice and friendly.

A couple of things that distracted us from a 100% enjoyable experience. The room was very clean other than a used cotton ball next to the bed and I smashed a silver fish bug on the floor. The room's heater/cooling had a noisy fan all through the night. My wife has a difficult time walking, so we were bothered by the steps in the main hallway. The breakfast was not what was expected and very disappointing. The booking website should have stated this was high-carb breakfast and only take-out. These few things do not change our excellent rating.

Beds were comfy to my liking, clean beds, & close to downtown.

Overall the cleanliness was good but the bathroom could have had more attention to it. A final look would be suggested after they’re done cleaning. There was a hair on the toilet seat, in the shower and the tub had some like mildew spots around. The shower head also had red mildew on it and can be easily scrubbed off.

The property is right downtown close to many restaurants, which was awesome! We walked to a Mexican restaurant for dinner.

The free breakfast is a little bit deceiving. The free version includes bagels, muffins, apples, juice, and coffee. If you want eggs or anything, hot, the price is $10 per person.

It was very clean. It had comfortable bed in a spacious room and friendly personnel. The view looking out over the city from our 6th and 5th floor rooms was beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset. It was close to lots of restaurants. It has a beautiful pool that would be nice in the summer.

The doorway to the bathroom was narrow and there are steps that must be navigated. Breakfast was sparse with just bagels, muffins, apples and oranges, coffee and juice.

We were in the area for a surgery! The location was perfect! The staff was very nice .

The only issue was I had left items in my room ! I had talk to front desk …I was supposed to get a lost and found form by email. I never received . I also messaged twice to the facility .

Rooms are always clean. Property always feels safe. No rude or lazy staff. Location is perfect. I always have a fine experience staying at hawthorne. Truly nothing negative to say about this place. I book here twice a month. I hope you decide to book with Hawthorne too!
