Comfort Inn & Suites Middletown - Franklin

This is the cleanest hotel I've ever been in. From luxury hotels in NYC and Miami to mid-level, family friendly hotels across the US, this one is by far the best cleaned! The staff is super friendly! The girl at the front desk when we checked in was so nice and welcoming! The bathroom was SPOTLESS! Good water pressure and the water did not have that typical hotel smell/feel. The room was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows.

The lobby, hallways and elevator could be brightened/freshened up a little.

I always travel with ice pks and frozen bottles of water. A lot of hotels have a small freezer at the top of frig but they didn't. The people at the front desk took the bottles and ice pks and put them in their freezer. This means so very much to me with the pain I deal with especially when I drive so many miles.

Location & value

The night we stayed the temperature dropped and it was really cold; causing us to receive a couple of unwanted critters looking for a warm shelter, (stink bugs). This was to no fault of the hotel because it was VERY CLEAN & had a fresh scent.

The staff was very pleasant, friendly and accommodating, whether it was the front desk, housekeeping or maintenance.

The facilities were a bit dated. Breakfast could have had some more options. But overall it was a good experience.

I arrived a day early. The Manager on Duty, Brittany, was extremely helpful making sure that we not only had accommodations for that night, but that the room remained available to us for the remaining nights of our stay. My daughter is on crutches, so Brittany also assisted in providing a room on the ground floor. All of the managers on duty during our stay were extremely pleasant and accommodating. They responded quickly to any requests. Housekeeping staff was also very pleasant. The room was very clean and beds extremely comfortable.

No breakfast, but that was because of COVID - not the fault of the hotel

The location was great, near everything we wanted.

Didn't have any hot breakfast foods prepared, just make your own waffles.
