Motel 6-Astoria, OR

Check-in was fast and easy. The room was comfortable. Everything worked. The best part about staying at this location was we had a fantastic view of the bridge and the big ships steaming up and down the river. A fun surprise about the bridge was that it has twinkling red and green lights on during the night.

The drawback that kept me from giving this property a 10 was that during check-in, we were told that coffee would be available in the lobby at 6:00 a.m. But when we got there at 6:00 a.m. the next morning, the door was locked and there was a sign on the door that said I will be back at 7:00 a.m. The sign was dated the week before, making it seem that it was stuck onto the window every morning. Luckily, we found a coffee hut nearby. But it seemed to me that if no one is available until 7:00 a.m., they should let the check-in crew and the guests know the day before. I wondered if sometimes people wanted to check out early in the morning, but were unable to return their key cards because the office door was locked.

I liked the fact the room was clean. The Staff at the front desk had a dynamite attitude! It was me and mines anniversary and he just flew in from LA. We had a great time!

I really can't think of what I didn't like . Well.wait, Maybe they could add the music channels to their cable you know like MuchMusic or whatever it is to get various music genres on your cable...Anyways, be sides that it was fabulous!

You can have I like the location it's very convenient and the fact that you and that they're smoking rooms available as well as it was pretty quiet

However I did not care for the fact that my room was dirty as well the walls were falling apart and so are light switches the sink gets plugged up and and the door frame is split and the light switches are old so they're not aligned correctly and there's a bunch of dust coming in from the walls there is chip off paint missing from all over the bedroom

This place was comfortable and family enjoyed it.

What really pissed me off is that you advertise this place at $60 per night and it was $175 a night. We would have liked to stay in Astoria with my grandkids longer, but it cost too much.

most amazing location right by the river and the bridge, on the back of the building where the road noise doesn't reach, with a big field in front of us for the dog

wish you would leave the coffee out all day, also we were bummed the pool was out of service, but otherwise we loved it. we will be back.

It was close and convenient to the activities we were doing. Decent price.

Pillows where very thin, when asking for more we were told the weren't supposed to have more than two pillows on a bed. Ended up getting two more very thin pillows in the end.

The price was great for the room, I appreciated the microwave and the fridge. The best part is being able to bring both of my dogs without any problem. You made it really easy for the single mom with kids. And dogs.

the extra parking on the waterfront is only accessed if you go around the whole motel and that was kinda inconvenient with all my luggage & kids. there is no sidewalk or extra entrance through the motel from the waterfront parking that I felt like would have been more convenient & in my opinion safe for families with children.

The view was absolutely amazing! We stayed July 1st through the 5th and had a view of the Columbia. Amazing!! The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. It was our first family vacation in 26 years and it was wonderful!

The only thing we didn't like was the bed. Very squeaky and not comfortable.

The staff was friendly and informative about the area. Welcoming to our pet.

Improvement that I could see was needed was alot of debri and garbage laying in one part of the hotel property. For me, that did not effect my wonderful stay. It simply would improve the appearance.
