comfortable bed, big bedroom, close to many restaurants and touristic attractions. staff was friendly and nice.

parking is very expensive and there were many homeless in the area, so street parking was not really an option… you have to ask for room service otherwise it won’t be provided.

The room was interesting with cement ceilings and writing all over. I appreciated the bed the most! It was very comfortable and relaxing! I also liked that there was storage and a mini fridge in the room....this was good for our perishables.

I think that the hotel should comp the parking considering it is part of the hotel. Portland is expensive enough without having to pay $45/night parking to stay at the hotel that's over $200/night. Please consider including parking as part of the amenities of your hotel. Thank you!

Loved room. Over all décor. Staff . Cleanliness..Sound proof room. Quite hallways. The smart mechanics of the hotel.will return . will recommend. I'd like to emphasize the great care and professionalism of Matt ( employee/ staff/ front desk) He is worthy of serious recognition. He assisted fully in a disgusting experience i was met with by a bartender and bar patron.( within the hotel restaurant).

Restaurant management needs awareness. The bartender/ employee was unprofessional and dysfunctional. He engaged in verbal insults and commentary about other patrons. He also engaged and encouraged a bar patron in his racist and misogynistic banter towards me.

The Beds were very comfortable, with nice linens, and pillows. The location was very quiet both in the hotel and outside. There is a nice park to walk the dog and it felt safe in the neighborhood. We did not use the parking garage because there was plenty of street parking around and in front of the hotel. Overall the staff was very nice, hotel was clean our deluxe room was very spacious. would stay here again.

The only mirror in the room is a small mirror in the bathroom, and could use a full length one. The water pressure from the sink was very bad. But the shower pressure was great, and not enough towel hooks for shower towels.

Location, on site parking, good value, helpful staff. Bathroom Lighting was great! Also the built in night light in bathroom was handy

Lack of counter space in the bathroom was a challenge for 4 people. Also, one person size mirror in bathroom was not enough. The only other mirror was the full length mounted inside the closet which was of no use as an alternative place to do hair and makeup.

Room was industrial looking but comfy. Staff was dope! And Hotel Vance is a great location close to everything I wanted to do while in Portland. However…. The food was terrible, it’s appeared to be flash fried Korean. Kind of got me sick and I didn’t finish my glass noodles.

The food - was over cooked and blackened (I don’t think it was supposed to be either) didn’t affect my rating for the hotel over all though. Just don’t eat the food or maybe just don’t get the glass noods. Also not really any veggie or vegan options on the menu.

didn’t have bfast, the location was perfect! Walking distance to everything, beautiful city and the hotel was very nice 👍🏾! Staff were very friendly and welcoming!

Pile of poop 💩 dead center to the Vance beautiful cherry red glass entrance doors. Staff was alerted when we were checking in, but it was still there at 7am the next morning, stepped in and smeared on the sidewalk i. front of the property…just sayin

Location was great, just a short walk to our daughters apartment. Plus walkable to Powells bookstore and Deshuets brewery. Beds were very comfortable and our room was really big.

Would have liked at least one comfortable chair for sitting/reading.

Our room was quiet and clean. The staff were also friendly and helpful - especially when a parking issue came up.

Something online had indicated that there were plenty of EV charging options in the associated parking garage. Turns out there were only two, both of which were taken when we got there. This certainly wasn't the staff's fault, though, and they were able to help us find another option nearby.

This is an amazing modern hotel right in the heart of downtown next to PSU campus. Everything was modern and beautiful looking and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful! The views of the city skyline were spectacular and there were mcminniins pub and heros eats right nearby. I love tall everything was in walking distance and we didn’t even need to rent a car! I definitely recommend it!
