Super 8 by Wyndham Hanover

Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Plenty of parking. Desk receptionist friendly and helpful

Breakfast wasn't much to offer Coffee, cereal, bagels and a couple snack bars Quite a distance from Gettysburg (my destination) not their fault . Water pressure for shower and toilet weak. TV lost signal little before time to leave and both door cards stopped working (minor problem)

The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable but just a little "tired looking" and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great, since everything we were doing was right in Hanover.

The breakfast was adequate for a quick meal. We enjoyed the waffles. I made oatmeal in the styrofoam bowl in the microwave oven according to the directions on the packet and the styrofoam bowl melted and made quite a mess.

The outside just looked like a motel, but the rooms had clearly been redone recently. They were updated, very clean, and very comfortable. Once in the rooms, it had the feel of a mid-price hotel like Hampton or La Quinta.

The outside was very basic and had no outside seating area.

The rooms were cleaner then what the reviews actually say, staff are great, better then a 3 star hotel I stayed at the night before, Breakfast was small due to covid but enough to hold you off till lunch. I didn’t feel rushed to check out. overall a great experience. IMPORTANT, I didn’t check before booking here. if you are looking for a hotel near Gettysburg this is about 25-30 min from there which isn’t as bad as it sounds. This hotel is worth it if you are on a budget like I was. Remember it’s a 2 star hotel you can’t get everything you want or expect.

The hallway carpets could be cleaned better (small amount of stains/litter). The building (exterior) itself can be in better shape. Overall other then that I have no complaints and will gladly return next year!!

I've stayed here before but this time it was so much better. The room was clean and didn't smell off cigarettes. Was a pleasant stay.

While there, there was a bad thunderstorm and very windy which knock off the tv for awhile due to being satellite. Eventually come back on.

The location offers breakfast and masks are required for common areas. This location also includes the courtesy bag of shampoo and coffee in the room without having to stop at the lobby desk for collection. Parking lot is clean and open enough for larger vehicles and trailers. Handicap parking is near the lobby entrance without a trip across the lot.

Room could have had a bit more of a clean up, as example, the sink vent in the basin was mildewed. You can see the reflection in the mirror, it's not too hard to clean the ick out. There were a couple transparent wrappers under the bedside table, squished up against the phone chord. But bed was clean.

Centrally located to restaurants and other amenities. Good value for the stay.

The breakfast bar wasn't really that great with a very small selection, not to mention the coffee was cold.

What I like in low-level Wyndham hotels (Super 8 and Days Inn) - you get exactly what you expect to get. Nothing fancy. But there is always a fridge, coffee maker, hairdryer. What is specific for these hotels: they always have a good desk. So one can easily work on the computer.

There is a desk but there is no chair. They have something to sit on. But not enough for working. I have also noticed a rise in rates. But it is applicable to the hospitality industry as a whole.

I didn't have breakfasts simply because I don't eat in the morning. What liked most - great people. The staff was friendly and helpful. I liked how the management maintains the building. Because a new or seriously renovated facility will cost. Even now the lowest price is $63.00 without taxes.

I liked everything because I know Super 8 and Days Inn. I didn't have expectations at the level of Marriott or Hyatt.

Friendliness of the staff.

Coffee carafe in the room---missing--although coffee was available in the lobby. Biggest issue was that room service is not provided daily. I understand the staff shortage, so I adjusted, but I was there for four days.As
