I was staying with my daughter and her family. There was plenty of room for all of us in the apartment we rented. We needed a place with a kitchen because my grandson does not like take out food. This place was perfect for our needs and I would definitely stay there again. Friendly staff. Plenty of restaurant options nearby.

I loved the space the apartment provided for my family. It was roomy enough that we all had some sense of personal space. The photos on their website do not do the actual room justice - I was expecting to feel like I was staying in my grandmother's guest room filled with cabbage roses and 50 year old furniture. It was more updated and had a "home" feeling instead of a classy alien feeling. Everything was very clean - beds felt nice to be in, bare feet didn't get dirty, the corners were free of webs and smutz that accumulates during quick cleaning.

I would have liked to bring my small dog for an added fee

We stayed one night in one of the two bedroom apartments. Staff was very friendly and accommodating at check-in and check out. I was not sure if I would need it, but they were willing to work with me on a late checkout or a last-minute second night. Beds were very comfortable, and the sheets were to my liking (but may not be to someone looking for super plush high-end sheets). For two bedrooms, the pricing was great. Overall, it was a good stay and I would stay here again. One unexpected occurance, the TV in the first bedroom and the TV in the second bedroom are separated by a wall. If you changed the channel on one TV, it changed the channel on the other TV. Since we checked in later in the evening, it was not a huge issue for us.

This is an older hotel and it shows in the decor and carpeting, lots of wear. Window air conditioners were very noisy and there was a lot of external light pollution in the front b3droom.. Apartment came with a full kitchen, plates and coffee cups, but no cookware and no silverware.This was not a problem since we did not plan any cooking. In our unit, there was a step down to the bathroom. This was not clearly marked and could pose a trip/injury hazard.

The location was perfect for a very short, easy drive to Hershey Park and it was right on the main drag of town with plenty of choices for eating. We especially loved Duck Donuts which was just a very short walk from our room. The room was nice size with comfortable beds and a fridge/freezer. The room was clean and the workers were friendly.

The only thing were the stairs up to the room. This was the first time to Simmons so I didn't realize or I would've asked for a ground level room. My niece has CP and she has difficulty climbing stairs. It worked out because we weren't going up and down all the time

This place is fantastic! You would think with motel in the name, it would be run down. Think again!! My husband was pleasantly surprised. I booked this room without him seeing the pictures. This place was very cute and a great getaway spot! The room we had was exactly what we needed. It was clean and well cared for. The desk person was absolutely accommodating and super friendly. She showed us to our room and made sure everything was up to par before she left us to settle in. The facility is bigger than we thought. It's a cluster of different properties. If you are looking for an amazing getaway, I would highly recommend this facility. Bonus** It was close to Hershey Park! We will stay here again!

We looked for a property with multiple beds in Hersey and chose Simmons. It is a distinctive hotel in downtown Hershey yet we had not stayed because of the ratings. Well, there are a few outdated fixtures in some parts of the room. However, our rooms were extremely comfortable and cozy. We stayed in one of the apartment buildings (room 9) which had three separate bedrooms. One of our party members has painful back issues. She said that the bed was very comfortable and she woke up with no back issues at all and was happy to have her own private room. One of the best parts was how close the hotel is to downtown Hershey. We were able to take a leisurely walk to the restaurants downtown. Yet the hotel is very quiet. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Some fixtures are a little outdated. However, everything is clean and well-maintained. We would definitely stay again!

The room was well kept, with two beds, which was a lot for me lol. They were well spread and the linen was clean. The room was equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator. Staying at Simmons Motel Hershey was a delight! From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff. The rooms were tastefully decorated, and clean, and provided all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The location was excellent, with easy access to Hershey's chocolate-themed attractions and nearby dining options. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which offered a variety of delicious options to start the day. The overall ambience of the motel was inviting, and I appreciated the attention to detail in ensuring a pleasant stay. I highly recommend Simmons Motel Hershey for its exceptional service and overall quality.

I had a fantastic stay at Simmons Motel Hershey, and honestly, there wasn't anything I didn't like. We stayed in one of the motels that have never been renovated, which we thought was super cool. We only stayed for one night, but we were pleased with our stay. The lady at the front desk (we didn’t catch her name) was super sweet, you can tell she loves her job and the history of the hotel. We would definitely stay her again ❤️

The only thing I saw that could have been changed was the shower curtain really needed replaced as it’s older and allows water to go everywhere. I hate to even mention it, we really enjoyed this place.

Lovely little motel right in the town center. Nothing fancy, but everything needed for a restful night’s stay. The young lady who checked us in, and the gentleman at check out were both very pleasant. Our room was roomy enough, beds were comfortable, everything was fine in the bathroom. I loved that, while nicely renovated, vintage touches have been maintained, like the adorable pink tile in the bathroom. The motel is located on the busy road (convenient parking on the side street), but our room was almost soundproof. Could hear trains not too far away, a sound I find pleasant. Coffee in the small lobby is very good. Very convenient location in town. Hershey Park is within sight, and lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance.( don’t miss Duck Donuts!!). Anyone visiting Hershey who wants a clean, safe, restful and economical place would do well to consider Simmons.

The light switch turned on and off all the room lights, and we couldn’t just have the bedside light on. The tv was a bit small, the size of a computer monitor really. Minor things, the only little negatives at all

The old timeyness and details like the well maintained grape iron fence. I used the internet booking system which I thought would be a quicker check as all my info and credit card info is given thru booking.com. I don’t understand how that is convenient and time saving for me as I spend time on the computer and spend more time “checking in “. A reply as to why someone should think this is not redundant and time consuming to the guest is not expected Granted this has nothing to do with the staff only with the process
