Fulton Steamboat Inn

The theming of the furniture to the music were all great. The staff was very kind and helpful and the grounds were maintained very nicely. It is a testament to the owners and staff that they are able to keep such an old staple of Lancaster feeling clean and not dated.

Minor inconveniences. Coffee not available in the lobby, no towels in the pool area one day, and unruly kids/adults forcing everyone else to vacate the pool due to wild games. A lot of this is just due to the people staying there and no fault of the staff. I witnessed one lady take the entire pile of cookies one day, and some parents have no regard for teaching their kids manners in the pool.

The room was well appointed and clean. The food was very good in the Tavern. The chocolate chip cookies were a nice addition upon check-in. The Hotel is close by to the American Music Theatre where we enjoyed a show.

We ate dinner in the Tavern as The Huckleberry Dining Room was closed for renovations. They were very short staffed, one bar tender and one server. They were doing a great job trying to keep up but you could see they were struggling. We waited a very long time for our food but it was very good when we got it. Also the bed pillows in the room were too soft to our liking. May I suggest a variety of firmnesses since there were 4 pillows on the king bed?

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was kind and accomodating. Any question or request was handled with kindness and professionalism. We never felt we were bothering anyone or interrupting anyone when we needed something. Some places the staff make it seem like you're interrupting them by asking them for help. We had a problem with our TV. I stopped at the front desk and asked about the TV. The employee, who was also taking care of the gift shop and doing a great job with both-that was no problem, said he would send someone from maintenance to the room to help us. I hadn't been back to the room for 5 minutes before there was a knock on the door and the man was there to help with the TV. I heard others had trouble with their TV's too but if they ask, it's taken care of immediately. The pool was nice. The kids had a great time. The playground is also nice. It looks like a fancy hotel (as my kids said) very nicely decorated and maintained which worried me that they wouldn't be as family friendly but they definitely were. We will definitely be staying here whenever we're in Lancaster. I can't say enough good things about it.

The staff was very friendly, and we were near many of the sights. The pool was great for kids and they also had a time allotted for adults only from 10 pm to midnight. The food was delicious and the on-site tavern was very relaxing.

We didn’t like the fact that you had to make reservations for breakfast. When you are on vacation you don’t know what time you’re going to wake up and you don’t want to set an alarm. But that’s the only negative we experienced.

The room was large enough to swing a cat. It is very clean and spotless. The bed was slightly hard than i expected but the pillows made up for it.

The management should get rid of Xfinity. The programs were terrible. My husband wanted to go to the third floor and take pictures but he wasn't allowed to do that because we did not have a room there. I feel if you pay $150 a night for a room, you should have full access to the entire hotel.

Location is perfect especially if you want to go to Dutch Wonderland or shopping! The outlets are all right there along with many restaurants! Mini golf is right across the street too! The hotel itself has a nice restaurant and cute store. The outside is so fun and family oriented from the playground for the kiddos to the fun gazebos and fire pits! The view is nice with the pond and fish/ducks are great too! The inside pool/hot tub are great 👍 but my sons favorite is the warm chocolate chip cookies! 🍪 We love staying here and have been coming for years! We'll be back for sure!

The families in the hall that were VERY loud from 645am until 830am with their children running up and down the halls, doors slamming, screaming, etc... Not the hotels fault but woke my son and I up very early when we had a very late night and long day ahead of us

The room was very nice, very clean and close to attractions. The pool was very clean as was the hot tub. The staff was very friendly, we felt welcome and were upgraded to a room with a balcony and electric fireplace. loved the robes to wear to the pool! it’s a great place for kids, very clean outdoor play area.

The constant ragtime music in the hallways was mildly annoying, the lack of a water cooler in the exercise room and food wasn’t great in the bar.

Breakfast was good, however due to being short staffed it took a while to get served. Your waiters were very good at trying to make sure we got everything we needed, however orange juice was off. Not the fresh squeezed, regular kind. It tasted sour and old. Other than that, breakfast was very good. Rooms were very clean. Staff friendly.

TV , it was difficult to get channels with remote, it was hard to figure out as well.

The facility was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We loved the Victorian style and the hotel boat theme was great. The pool was heated and the hot tub was a very nice relaxing treat for me while my husband and two kids enjoyed the pool. The pool area was very clean. The room was cozy & comfortable. The gift shop had very nice things. The information center on the 1st floor was very resourceful with all the brochures and information about things to do. We will definitely be back.

Me and my husband did not like the food at the Steam Boat Inn on-site restaurant. But the cocktails were great and the bar was nice.

I really love the uniqueness of the Fulton Steamboat Inn. This was our first stay at this inn and I'm so glad I chose this location. The inn overall was just beautiful and the decor within was impeccable. In the evening, the outside of the inn itself is decorated with beautiful bright lighting. The food at the Huckleberry Restaurant within the inn was delicious and plentiful. They also had a tavern, indoor pool, hot tub, sun room and sundeck on rooftop on-site but I didn't get a chance to view those areas. I can go on and on but you have to experience it yourself. I will be going back in the summertime so I can sit outside near the koi and duck pond. I can't wait. Come on summertime!!!!

No complaints at all.
