We were looking for an affordable, safe, clean overnight stay in Amish country. That is just what we got. I cancelled a more expensive hotel (double the price) and reserved here instead. I wondered if I would regret it. I did not. Saved money! I did not pay for a 4-star hotel, so, of course, the facilities are not those of a 4-star hotel. I did get a safe and clean room in a 2-star hotel. Great!

the breakfast was a little less than that was shown on the web sight, ceiling tiles needed to be replaced, my reading lights were out and im a reader. im not complaining . these are things you should know

Bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. The staff was kind and seemed to be attentive to my needs. I didn't watch TV but I did sit in the love seat and table chair.
There wasn't a continental breakfast; just coffee, and I think bagels. No hot breakfast. The only issue with the room was the iron. It had black burned stuff on the bottom and I almost ironed my white shirt with it. That could have been a disaster. I tried to just push the steam out of the iron to get the wrinkles out. This place could have been perfect if not for the bad iron and the high price. The check-in and checkout time for the hotels up there in Lancaster are crazy. I cannot expect to get an AM check-in time since all check -in times are at 3pm for almost every hotel that I checked. If I'm there for an AM business meeting, I'd have to carry my luggage around til 3pm. This is very uncomfortable.

Staff was friendly and helpful with directions. Bed linen was clean, Carpet was clean also. It was well decorated. This was not expected to be a luxury room and it was not, but nice and safe.
I would prefer a room that did not charge for extra people.. ie prefer a charge basic for the Queen room whether 2 people or 4 people. That is a minor issue.

Location was great, close to everything and could view the beach from my balcony.
Vending, ice machine and washer/dryer area could definitely use an upgrade. Very run down and dirty equipment. Rest of the facility was very clean and up to date.
