Room 28 was clean, no weird odor like some older hotels have. Easy to get to our room. Check in and out was quick. The main area of the room was spacious/well maintained. Had a mini fridge and microwave plus a small conversation table.

Both window curtains had gaps that wouldn't stay fully closed/let light in. TV picture not clear. Bathroom tiny w/wall mounted tp holder made it odd to use (easy to hit elbows on due to tight space). Outlet used for fridge and microwave likely needs replaced (whatever is plugged into the top loosely fits/hangs out, bottom outlet worked fine).

This property worked out perfectly for our group of 20, and we would stay here again. All of the rooms were very clean and most were extremely large! The outside patio area was perfect for us all to get together after the Sight and Sound Theater because it was a beautiful evening. However, this would not work in inclement weather.

Upon arrival, the man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. However, during the initial registration months ago the man who answered the phone at that time was rude and uncooperative. Perhaps he is gone now or was just having a bad day, but it might be best if he is given other responsibilities and duties instead of talking with potential customers.

The Classic Inn Lancaster is a small privately owned motel with comfortable, large rooms. Each room has a fridge, microwave, coffee maker ( there was complimentary coffee and muffins in the lobby each morning). The setting is pleasantly old fashioned and in great shape. The staff must be commended for the cleanliness of the room and bathroom and the warm welcome. Attention is given to each guest to feel special by everyone working at the motel. Great location to shop at the outlets (10 minutes by foot) or to explore the countryside and the Amish towns.

I Margaret Sinclair will recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a good clean friendly staff the owner they are the best great in fact they treat you just like you part of their family I was so excited when I seen the wife out there running and playing with the kids it was beautiful and lady cleaned the place is awesome she makes sure you are comfortable your room is clean do you need anything constantly all day every time I saw that lady she want to clean my room or do something this place is the greatest hotel I ever stayed in trust me I stayed in a lot this one is the best

Was very reminiscent of my childhood trips to Pennsylvania. Very simple and cozy. No big thrills and not a million rooms, not a chain hotel. Very quite, we never heard our neighbors. We appreciate simplicity.

It is no fault of the hotels but they are now stuck in the hussel bussel of the growing population. They are surrounded by big chains and a fast moving highway. We really hope they stand the test of time ! We’d love to come back!!

It's a great location! The room was much bigger than we thought, Everything was clean and fresh, and housekeeping tidied up each day. The staff was very friendly, and there was coffee, tea and muffins in the morning. They had pamphlets of places to go in the area, and personally recommended an excellent touristy-place for us to visit. Although the decor is dated, it was cozy and functional, and there is plenty of drawer storage for those staying for an extended time. The fridge and microwave also are a welcome asset.

The bathroom was squeaky clean, but very small. (It would be hard to change clothes in the bathroom for privacy.) The bed was a little firmer than we were used to, but was okay. Also, there are no table lamps in the room, only overhead lights, which are a little harsh on the eyes when getting up early. In addition, the microwave was located at floor-level. (We had to use our phone flashlight, put on our glasses and crouch on the floor to use it! But it worked fine.)

Easy to find, at the main street. Reception in the front, buidldng is behind. Nice guy at the front office and carefull for the guests. Big rooms, bench and table beihind building, to seat and chat a little bit. Was ok.

No breakfast, but plenty restaurants around in a walking distance. If you have a big car the driveway is a bit narrow.

Have stayed here several times and it never disappoints. The location is within short distance to many of the tourist attractions Countryside is beautiful. Staff are professional and an excellent source of information. Rooms are clean and spacious. Plan to return again in near future.

The parking lot is small. It can be difficult getting out of parking area onto Route 30 depending which direction you're headed .

The room was spacious, clean, had a microwave and refrigerator. It also had a sink outside the toilet and shower which is something I really like. There was a desk and a love seat and a six drawer dresser, as I said it was spacious. Also had TV with many channels.

There was no elevator and no continental breakfast. I knew about the breakfast when I booked but did not know about the stairs.

obvious new carpeting and paint. everything was really clean and the bed sheets were especially nice. The area felt very safe.

This is an older building but family owned, I understand. They are keeping it up nicely and staff was really nice. No coffee maker in the room but coffee was available in the office. The driveway around the building was a little tight for our large truck but once around the parking was right in front of our door.
