The motel is in a great location, central to many destination spots. The room was comfortable. The staff is very nice and eager to please. We slept well and had nice, hot showers. Breakfast was very nice, good selection and fresh. Waffles were delish. They serve a nice Chai along with coffee.

I think more effort should be made to clean the rooms better. It was okay, I wasnt totally creeped out, but too much is overlooked by the staff. The beds were clean. But the tub needs scrubbing and the rug makes you feel like you shouldnt walk barefoot on it. Furniture is old and worn, scratched.

Convenient location. Front desk staff was pleasant and gave us a ground floor room upon my request but did not mention that our room was on a different level from the breakfast room, (**see other comment) or that motel was having renovations performed. Breakfast was nice, the area was clean and the Chia tea was very good

1st time using Booking.com: I was told at check in what my cost was, and I confirmed the number of adults (3) and 1 child. With a small dog. Found TV did not work, called front desk to ask for more pillows and to have TV looked at, I was asked again about number of people and i confirmed again and was told that there was a fee for dog even though the first conversation was told dog was included. Staff got TV working, but when shut off for night, it did not work in the morning. The room was moderately clean but had a strong smell of air freshener. The breakfast room is located by the lobby but is up two flights of stairs from room location, stairs are difficult for me.

Location was easy to find on a main route, the facilities were decent, but aging. Property could use some upgrades and renovations. The air conditioner wasn't loud and there wasn't any noticeable traffic noise which made for pleasant sleeping and the bed was super comfy. The cleanliness of the room was very good.

The plumbing in the bathroom kept making a clanking noise and the toilet was a very sluggish flusher, sometimes had to flush twice to remove all the debris. The breakfast was limited to waffles, fruit, and cold cereal. I would have appreciated more protein selections.

Breakfast was sufficient. Boiled eggs were the only protein. It would have been nice to have yogurts offered. The staff was EXCEPTIONALLY friendly. When I asked about ice - as the ice machine on the 3rd floor was DRY - I later discovered that it had been plugged in and was producing ice. I really appreciated that!

ELEVATOR!!!!!! TWO people in my party of 4 should not be climbing stairs - except on a limited basis. Had we known there was no elevator, we would have called in advance to make sure we were on a level that didn't require use of stairs. At check in, they were unable to put us on a level that didn't require use of stairs. This was a significant difficulty for us. Notice on the website that the pool was under construction - or closed - would have been nice. My daughters wanted to use the pool. We may have chosen a different place for this. It was super tricky to figure out how to use the AC unit in our room.

The room was freshly renovated, the ac was perfect , the price was perfect & fair . The location was close to everything, and had a nice view in the back . The pool was open as well and looked very clean . We were late for breakfast and staff still accommodated us to breakfast which was very nice . They had a Roku smart tv in the room with YouTube and Netflix on it !

Absolutely nothing, no complaints ! Will 100% come back if I’m ever in Pennsylvania again !

Manager was very accommodating in assigning ground floor rooms and arranging early check in for a couple of our rooms. The facility was in a perfect location for our bike club to initiate a ride to explore the area and having an ice machine available to fill our water bottles was an added bonus on this very warm day!

We were not able to take advantage of the pool due to our schedule, but appreciated the fact that it was available to us.

The inn was clean our room did smell a little musty but after turning on the dehumidifier it cleared up. Should probably leave that on. The beds are very firm. Also to turn the shower on you really have to pull on the knob thought I was gonna rip it out of the wall. Would stay here again pretty close to attractions/food but off the beaten path.

I loved the location! It was very laid back. I felt like I was in the country. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. I didn't really mind the outdated decor - considering the great price we paid to stay there.

The breakfast was good. Would have liked to see some more pastries or a choice of yogurt. If that's the only negative I can come up with, I'd say that's pretty good.

Very nice hotel for the money. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were clean. This one of the best places to stay for Spooky Nook that is less than $150. I would rate it best hotel for the money in the area and I've stayed at a lot of them. Over 10 horse and buggies went right past our room on Sunday morning which added to the Amish experience. Thank you for a great night and we will be back!

Location is breathtakingly beautiful. As mentioned in other reviews, the decor is outdated, but it’s good quality and maintained properly. (I’m a industrial maintenance technician). Our stay was like a refreshing step back into the past. This place serves a real breakfast in the mornings which is something the industry seems to be getting away from.

The property has some major maintenance issues coming up, such as the greater part of the buildings exterior and a sinking pool area. These aren’t really negatives yet, but I will pay attention to how these things are addressed. We will definitely be back.
