This is a gorgeous hotel in the perfect location to see all the revolutionary stuff. I loved the decor; so many interesting pieces. The drawback is the cost and the necessity of using valet. Sometimes, though, you pay for convenience. It was so easy to get to the Liberty Bell at opening and then make our reservation at Independence Hall. From there, we walked to the Museum of the American Revolution, the Betsy Ross house, Elfreth’s Alley, and Franklin’s grave. We also had lunch next door at the Bourse Food Hall. This hotel is about location!

The price was more than we usually pay, but the convenience can’t be beat.

Comfortable beds. Beautifully appointed rooms. Roomy bathroom.

the only thing we didn't like was hardly anyone's fault- just the mask wearing because of Covid.

The hotel is lovely. Very clean and comfortable. It's in the city center so of course you know you are paying for the location. The staff is efficient, personable and professional. I included breakfast with our room, I thought it was quite good and a much better deal than paying at the restaurant. I love that it's a pet friendly hotel, it was nice to see a pup in the lobby. They also serve wine in the lobby starting at 5 pm.

The valet to park the car was more than $55.00 as stated on Booking.com. It was $68.00+ The bottle of water in the room was $10.00, honestly that's ridiculous. We stayed one night - Mon/Tues. The restaurant is closed for dinner on Mondays and the roof top bar was closed as well. Not to worry, there are excellent restaurants nearby.

Beautiful room, the service was amazing. Trevor at the front desk was extremely helpful, and couldn’t do enough to help us check in. He made us feel very welcomed. Loved the decor of the room. Bed was so comfortable. Thank you!

The valet parking service needs to be worked on greatly. Needs to be better organized and understood when the room is booked. For the $55.00 we paid I was treated rather shabbily when we were trying to leave the car off. Very unorganized and no one there to direct us. We waited over twenty minutes to drop the car off. Maybe a door person is needed to direct the traffic.

This hotel is beautiful and colorful. None of the drab grays of other hotels exist here. It is bohemian and cool. I could see the Liberty bell from my window. And it is a convenient location to lots of history and cool things to do. The bathtub is nice and big. The shower and sinks are nice. Beautiful stay!

The tv was old and pretty garbage. Just get new smart tvs. There were some homeless people around, but they were not intrusive. The hotel was supposed to credit me for $10 to not have my room cleaned, but still charged for the $8 bottle of water I drank.

Great service! Awesome decor! The room was great and I loved the soaking tub.

Parking. Know there’s not a lot of places to park in Center City so it comes at a price. If you drive be sure to add an additional $68 per night for parking if you use valet. Lastly, I was here in part for the NYE party. Unfortunately, it rained so the VIP section was moved inside but it didn’t seem like there was much thought given to organizing the rooftop lounge to make it usable. I had a great time but having paid $135 for VIP tickets, the options presented was under par.

Beautiful view, room and service staff. Upgrade fo To the one bedroom suite if you can. The soaker tub is well worth it! Also the space to get ready and move around was much better then the smaller room. Worth the rate to upgrade. Staff helped us to our room, valet was so nice and understanding. Really liked the crew that came in to help us get things together, one guy even helped build a toy for my daughter as I was alone because my husband was in the wedding. Above and beyond. Just hope they can clear up the unorganized front desk and reservation team.

The day prior to my check in I called to confirm early check in as I was bringing a young child. Everyone said yes we have the room ready. After two hours of a ride I arrived early, but when I got here they said my room was not ready for five hours. Luckily I was able to go to a friends room and wait, but that made my experience terrible because when I did check in, their was a long line and I was late for the wedding I was attending. Confirm reservation information with booking staff before you tell guests misinformation.

Clean and well kept lobby and rooms.

some of the furniture in the lobby area looks pases it’s prime (leather seats that look dirty, for example). in terms of service, they could vastly i prove their concierge and front desk knowledge and willingness to help guests with touristy questions. For example, we asked for a map and they gave it to us but with no explanation of where we were at, what were they key sites to see around. We also asked for recommendations for breakfast for two days. We got a great one for the first day but for the second day we were directed to a pizza place (?) with no breakfast menu. The concierge was not ready for these type of questions.

the room was over expectation in terms of style, comfortability, and the view was very nice. the air conditioning was perfect for heat and cold. however, the shower was bad. since the only shower we have is fixed on the wall. room services was very nice, staff is so polite and helpful. the 17:00 wine break is just perfect. we enjoyed our stay

shower was really bad. no breakfast, and the Tavern breakfast was costly, and the service is very slow

The location was perfect, right in the historic district. A lovely old-character hotel, with good quality furnishings. Even though no breakfast was not included, there was free coffee/tea in the morning and the breakfast available in the tavern /restaurant. The roof garden was open one night we were there, which was fun. The valet parking was easy to use, though of course a little costly.

It could be made clearer that breakfast was available in the tavern as it is really easy to access. But otherwise all was excellent!
